In this episode, poetry editors Ghada Khalil and A. Anupama talk "process." The writing of poems in salon and in solitude, the curation of the journal, and the untranslatableness of experience to language (but how delightful to try), among other topics, offer a sweet glimpse of poetic mind.

Maureen Amaturo, a regular at River River's community writing circles, reads from "Unseasonable" and "American Breakfast," two of 16 pieces of her work that have been accepted for publication at a rich and diverse list of journals and magazines in the last year. She talks with Donna Lee Miele about her submission process, which she considers as much a part of her writing life as the time she spends writing. Maureen writes fiction and creative nonfiction, and she is a fashion and beauty columnist and a writing educator.

Richard Maldonado, singer-songwriter and regular performer at our local farmers' markets, talks about creative process and songmaking.
