Critical Thinking Week 1 - June 5th, 2022 Message from The Bridge
Exodus 14:11-12 They said to Moses, “Was it because there were no graves in Egypt that you brought us to the desert to die? What have you done to us by bringing us out of Egypt? 12 Didn’t we say to you in Egypt, ‘Leave us alone; let us serve the Egyptians’? It would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the desert!” Exodus 16:2-3 In the desert the whole community grumbled against Moses and Aaron. 3 The Israelites said to them, “If only we had died by the Lord’s hand in Egypt! There we sat around pots of meat and ate all the food we wanted, but you have brought us out into this desert to starve this entire assembly to death.” Exodus 16:8 “…You are not grumbling against us, but against the Lord.” What in your life do you complain about most? Philippians 2:14-15 Do everything without grumbling or arguing, 15 so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation...” Philippians 2:14-15 (NLT) Do everything without complaining and arguing, 15 so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people. IF YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. IF YOU CAN’T CHANGE YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES, CHANGE YOUR PERSPECTIVE. Philippians 2:17-18 But even if I am being poured out like a drink offering on the sacrifice and service coming from your faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you. 18 So you too should be glad and rejoice with me. Philippians 1:12-13 Now I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that what has happened to me has actually served to advance the gospel. 13 As a result, it has become clear throughout the whole palace guard and to everyone else that I am in chains for Christ.

Where is God Part 2 - May 29th, 2022
GOD DOESN’T EXIST TO SERVE US. WE EXIST TO SERVE HIM. 3 THINGS WE KNOW ABOUT GOD?  GOD’S HEART IS ALWAYS LOVING. Romans 8:35, 37-39 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?... 37  No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38  For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39  neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.  GOD’S WAYS ARE ALWAYS HIGHER. Isaiah 55:8-9“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD. 9  “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. Romans 5:3-4…but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance;4 perseverance, character; and character, hope.   GOD’S PRESENCE IS ALWAYS ENOUGH. Exodus 33:14 “And he said, “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” 1 John 4:16 “So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.” Psalm 16:11 “You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”
