Faith Confessions
Scriptural Answers for Everyday Living For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power (making it active, operative, energizing, and effective)   - Hebrews 4:12 (Amplified Version) Praying the Promises of Scripture Praying God's Word is not meant to be a ritual, but to help us to know the will of God and His promises. Isaiah 55:11 - "So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." Jeremiah 1:12 - "Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it." 1 John 5:14-15 - "And this is the confidence that we have in Him that, if we ask anything according to His will, He heareth us: And if we know that He hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him." As we send forth God's Word in prayer it will not return void in our lives.  God is faithful to watch over His Word to perform it.  In praying the scriptures, not only are you praying the will of God, but developing and increasing your faith as you speak the Word of God.  Romans 10:17 says, "Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God."
