This Podcast Rocks!!!!
Recorded by the legendary Johnny “Kaps”Kapelos of Second City/Breakfast Club fame, this is a rockingly funny podcast that will have you rolling. Lots of friends here, and the strangest, eeriest special effects. Special note: Kaps is a skilled musician and an old hand in the studio, so what he does with very modern technology on a podcast has got to be heard to be believed. Hilarious, delightful and a must have!

Right from the start I was drawn in, at light speed, to a madcap riot fest right out of the golden Age of Radio. Awesome and very funny work John. I look forward to more comic adventures.

Lingua FrancTASTIC!
If you’re in the mood for irreverent musings in the grand tradition of Second City and the National Lampoon Radio Hour - take take a trip down John Kapelos’ Lingua Franca lane. It’s O.G. Komedy with a “K” - as in Kapelos! Ώπα!
Dodelicious
Love this unholy mix!
Goddamniit, Kapelos was funny when the Stones offered Emotional Rescue, and, apparently, has gotten even funnier.
Keep these excellent podcasts coming, John!!

I may be biased but…IT’S FUNNY!
I think this is one of the funniest, wittiest and enjoyable twenty minutes I have spent in a while. The humor is smart, witty and incredibly well-observed. It’s even more amazing after hearing this tour de force that it all comes from one person, John Kapelos. His writing, voice and musical talent aside - his facility with multi-tracking puts him on par with some of the best satirists out there today. Reminiscent of the Firesign Theatre, National Lampoon and Harry Shearer LINGUA FRANCA is treading new undiscovered comic terrain. Enjoy! It will make you laugh.

Love it!
Travel by dragonfly? This is a audio trip that takes you from South Beach, to the bowling alley, on the air, into the hard drive of our lives, and of course the heated bedroom. These sound waves host unique humor that lands on the human heart.

Fastest 20 minutes in podcast comedy!
I laughed out loud. And I never do that when I’m listening to a podcast. This is funny (and yes, a wee bit racy and controversial) and unexpected. I didn’t know what was coming next. This is a one-man show (not counting computer voices) par excellence. It’s not just that John Kapalos is a master of mimicry. It’s that he gets people and the silly ways they say what they they mean without saying what they mean. I want more!

Funny with an edge
A wonderful show reminiscent of the FIRESIGN THEATER days. John Kapelos channels his Second City talents and delivers an entertaining program that will keep your ear to the speaker.
Well recommended.

Fun
Straight out of a Second City skit or old timey radio, John Kapelos delivers pop culture comedy minus the typical spoon feed of contemporary entertainment. The air and space it creates, feels alive and real. Intelligent humor for the imagination. Keep this animal alive!

Smart, Funny
It’s great to hear comedy that isn’t merely a re-hash or trash of current pop culture. John’s work is reminiscent of the old NATIONAL LAMPOON RADIO HOUR — for those who don’t recall it, it predated SNL and featured people like John Belushi & Chris Guest — and FIRESIGN THEATRE. You’ll laugh and you can’t help but appreciate the fact that this cast and crew is comprised of one (talented) guy.

Love this! Current Technology without wires!! Those two gys are hilarious as they chat about cable tv and newspaper. Water under the perverbial bridge (my favorite part). Thanks John for sharing this!!
