To put on the helmet of Salvation is to let the knowledge of the victory of Jesus over death; which is the payment of our debt of sin, permeate our being. Salvation as a shield, is the ability to find rest in the reality of who we are in Christ. This brings protection and affirmation of our freedom and identity in Jesus.
