Ep.3 When You Are Exhausted
Ep.3 When You Are Exhausted Ps. Luke Kennedy Matthew 12:28 But if it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. Isaiah 40:29-31 He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Not to be served but to serve
Not to be served but to serve (Matthew 20:24-28 NLT) When the ten other disciples heard what James and John had asked, they were indignant. (25) But Jesus called them together and said, “You know that the rulers in this world lord it over their people, and officials flaunt their authority over those under them. (26) But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, (27) and whoever wants to be first among you must become your slave. (28) For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.” 1.Jesus came to serve (Matthew 20:28 NLT) For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (Philippians 2:5-9 NLT) You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. (6) Though he was God,he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. (7) Instead, he gave up his divine privileges;he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, (8) he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross. (9) Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, 2.We are called to serve (Matthew 20:25-27 NLT) But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, (27) and whoever wants to be first among you must become your slave. (1Peter 5:6 NLT) So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor. What can we do now? 1. Pray for opportunities to serve 2. Find opportunities to serve 3.  Serve joyfully (Psalms 100:2 NIV) Worship the Lord with gladness;come before him with joyful songs.

Jesus can heal you in your home
Jesus can heal you in your home (Luke 7:1-10 NLT) 'When Jesus had finished saying all this to the people, he returned to Capernaum. (2) At that time the highly valued slave of a Roman officer was sick and near death. (3) When the officer heard about Jesus, he sent some respected Jewish elders to ask him to come and heal his slave. (4)So they earnestly begged Jesus to help the man. “If anyone deserves your help, he does,” they said, “for he loves the Jewish people and even built a synagogue for us.” (6) So Jesus went with them. But just before they arrived at the house, the officer sent some friends to say, “Lord, don’t trouble yourself by coming to my home, for I am not worthy of such an honor. (7) I am not even worthy to come and meet you. Just say the word from where you are, and my servant will be healed. I know this because I am under the authority of my superior officers, and I have authority over my soldiers. I only need to say, ‘Go,’ and they go, or ‘Come,’ and they come. And if I say to my slaves, ‘Do this,’ they do it.” (9) When Jesus heard this, he was amazed. Turning to the crowd that was following him, he said, “I tell you, I haven’t seen faith like this in all Israel!”(10) And when the officer’s friends returned to his house, they found the slave completely healed.' Healing is not earned but a gift (Psalms 145:8 TPT) You’re kind and tenderhearted to those who don’t deserve it and very patient with people who fail you. Your love is like a flooding river overflowing its banks with kindness. Jesus has the authority to heal (Hebrews 1:3 TPT) The Son is the dazzling radiance of God’s splendor, the exact expression of God’s true nature—his mirror image! He holds the universe together and expands it by the mighty power of his spoken word. He accomplished for us the complete cleansing of sins, and then took his seat on the highest throne at the right hand of the majestic One. (Matthew 28:18 NLT) Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Jesus can heal you wherever you are

Passion poured out!
Passion poured out! (Mark 14:3-9 TPT)  Now Jesus was in Bethany, in the home of Simon, a man Jesus had healed of leprosy. And as he was reclining at the table, a woman came into the house, holding an alabaster flask. It was filled with the highest quality of fragrant and expensive oil. She walked right up to Jesus, and with a gesture of extreme devotion, she broke the flask and poured out the precious oil over his head. (4) But some were highly indignant when they saw this, and they complained to one another, saying, “What a total waste! (5)  It could have been sold for a great sum, and the money could have benefited the poor.” So they scolded her harshly. (6) Jesus said to them, “Leave her alone! Why are you so critical of this woman? She has honored me with this beautiful act of kindness. (7) For you will always have the poor, whom you can help whenever you want, but you will not always have me. (8) When she poured the fragrant oil over me, she was preparing my body in advance of my burial. She has done all that she could to honor me. (9) I promise you that as this wonderful gospel spreads all over the world, the story of her lavish devotion to me will be mentioned in memory of her.” Not everyone is going to be happy though... (Mark 14:4-5 TPT)  But some were highly indignant when they saw this, and they complained to one another, saying, "What a total waste! (5) It could have been sold for a great sum, and the money could have benefited the poor." So they scolded her harshly. Jesus right now - is standing up for you!! (Mark 14:6-9 TPT) Jesus said to them, "Leave her alone! Why are you so critical of this woman? She has honored me with this beautiful act of kindness. [7] For you will always have the poor, whom you can help whenever you want, but you will not always have me. [8] When she poured the fragrant oil over me, she was preparing my body in advance of my burial. She has done all that she could to honor me. [9] I promise you that as this wonderful gospel spreads all over the world, the story of her lavish devotion to me will be mentioned in memory of her." (Matthew 6:33 TPT)"So above all, constantly chase after the realm of God's kingdom and the righteousness that proceeds from him. Then all these less important things will be given to you abundantly.

A Recipe For A Breakthrough / Miracle
A Recipe For A Breakthrough / Miracle (Matthew 9:18-19 NLT) As Jesus was saying this, the leader of a synagogue came and knelt before him. “My daughter has just died,” he said, “but you can bring her back to life again if you just come and lay your hand on her.” (19) So Jesus and his disciples got up and went with him. (Matthew 9:23-26 NLT) When Jesus arrived at the official’s home, he saw the noisy crowd and heard the funeral music. (24) “Get out!” he told them. “The girl isn’t dead; she’s only asleep.” But the crowd laughed at him. (25) After the crowd was put outside, however, Jesus went in and took the girl by the hand, and she stood up! (26) The report of this miracle swept through the entire countryside. Don’t Give Up! It’s Not Over! Ask! (Mark 5:35-36 NIV) While Jesus was still speaking, some people came from the house of Jairus, the synagogue leader. “Your daughter is dead,” they said. “Why bother the teacher anymore?” (36) Overhearing what they said, Jesus told him, “Don’t be afraid; just believe.” Adjust Your Music!  Set Your Room Up For A Miracle Music & People (Matthew 9:23-26 NLT) When Jesus arrived at the official’s home, he saw the noisy crowd and heard the funeral music. (24) “Get out!” he told them. “The girl isn’t dead; she’s only asleep.” But the crowd laughed at him (Psalm 34:1-4 MSG)I bless God every chance I get; my lungs expand with his praise. (2) I live and breathe God; if things aren’t going well, hear this and be happy: (3) Join me in spreading the news; together let’s get the word out. (4) God met me more than halfway, he freed me from my anxious fears. Get Around With Faith-Filled People! Practical : Faith Hype Men (Matthew 9:25 NLT) After the crowd was put outside, however, Jesus went in and took the girl by the hand, and she stood up! (Mark 5:40-42 NIV) But they laughed at him. After he put them all out, he took the child’s father and mother and the disciples who were with him, and went in where the child was. (41) He took her by the hand and said to her, “Talitha koum!” (which means “Little girl, I say to you, get up!”). (42) Immediately the girl stood up and began to walk around (she was twelve years old). At this they were completely astonished. (Matthew 18:20 MSG) And when two or three of you are together because of me, you can be sure that I’ll be there.” Let God Speak To You! Jesus Speaks your Language Which Dead Area Are You Gonna Let Jesus Speak? Dream, Future, Hope Get Ready For A Revival (Ezekiel 37:4-6 NLT) Then he said to me, “Speak a prophetic message to these bones and say, ‘Dry bones, listen to the word of the Lord! 5 This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Look! I am going to put breath into you and make you live again! 6 I will put flesh and muscles on you and cover you with skin. I will put breath into you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’” (Matthew 9:26 NLT) The report of this miracle swept through the entire countryside.

Let’s love what Jesus Loves!
Let’s love what Jesus Loves! (Mark 11:15-18 NIV) On reaching Jerusalem, Jesus entered the temple courts and began driving out those who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves, (16) and would not allow anyone to carry merchandise through the temple courts. (17) And as he taught them, he said, “Is it not written: ‘My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations’? But you have made it ‘a den of robbers.’” (18) The chief priests and the teachers of the law heard this and began looking for a way to kill him, for they feared him, because the whole crowd was amazed at his teaching. (John 2:17 NIV) “His disciples remembered that it is written: “Zeal for your house will consume me.”” 1.Jesus wants a house full of sons and daughters (Hebrews 2:9-13 NIV) “But we do see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone. In bringing many sons and daughters to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through what he suffered. Both the one who makes people holy and those who are made holy are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers and sisters. He says, “I will declare your name to my brothers and sisters; in the assembly I will sing your praises.” And again, “I will put my trust in him.” And again he says, “Here am I, and the children God has given me.”” (Psalms 92:13 NIV) “planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God.” 2.Jesus wants a house full of prayer (connecting with God) (Isa 42:6 RSV) “I am the Lord, I have called you in righteousness, I have taken you by the hand and kept you; I have given you as a covenant to the people, a light to the nations 3.Jesus wants a house full of all nations (Luke 14:23 NIV) "Then the master told his servant, 'Go out to the roads and country lanes and compel them to come in, so that my house will be full. (Revelation 7:9-10NIV) “After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice: “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.””

God Calls You by Name
God Calls You By Name (Exodus 3:1-4 NLT) One day Moses was tending the flock of his father-in-law, Jethro, the priest of Midian. He led the flock far into the wilderness and came to Sinai, the mountain of God. (2) There the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a blazing fire from the middle of a bush. Moses stared in amazement. Though the bush was engulfed in flames, it didn’t burn up. (3) “This is amazing,” Moses said to himself. “Why isn’t that bush burning up? I must go see it.” (4) When the Lord saw that he had caught Moses' attention God called to him from the middle of the bush, “Moses! Moses!” “Here I am!” Moses replied. 1) God is trying to get our Attention 2) God Calls us by name 3) God Calls us to Purpose (Exodus 3:10 NLT) Now go, for I am sending you to Pharaoh. You must lead my people Israel out of Egypt.” (John 3:16-17 NIV) For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (17) For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 4) We have to Respond to the Call

Do You Believe?
Do You Believe? (Matthew 8:5-13 NLT) When Jesus returned to Capernaum, a Roman officer came and pleaded with him, (6) “Lord, my young servant lies in bed, paralyzed and in terrible pain.” (7) Jesus said, “I will come and heal him.” (8) But the officer said, “Lord, I am not worthy to have you come into my home. Just say the word from where you are, and my servant will be healed. (9) I know this because I am under the authority of my superior officers, and I have authority over my soldiers. I only need to say, ‘Go,’ and they go, or ‘Come,’ and they come. And if I say to my slaves, ‘Do this,’ they do it.” (10) When Jesus heard this, he was amazed. Turning to those who were following him, he said, “I tell you the truth, I haven’t seen faith like this in all Israel! (11) And I tell you this, that many Gentiles will come from all over the world—from east and west—and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob at the feast in the Kingdom of Heaven. (12) But many Israelites—those for whom the Kingdom was prepared—will be thrown into outer darkness, where tzhere will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” (13) Then Jesus said to the Roman officer, “Go back home. Because you believed, it has happened.” And the young servant was healed that same hour. Do You Believe God Wants to Meet Your Needs? (Matthew 8:6-7 NLT)  “Lord, my young servant lies in bed, paralyzed and in terrible pain.” (7) Jesus said, “I will come and heal him.” (Matthew 11:28-30 MSG)“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” Do You Believe In The Authority Of Jesus? (Matthew 8:8-9 NLT ) But the officer said, “Lord, I am not worthy to have you come into my home. Just say the word from where you are, and my servant will be healed. (9) I know this because I am under the authority of my superior officers, and I have authority over my soldiers. I only need to say, ‘Go,’ and they go, or ‘Come,’ and they come. And if I say to my slaves, ‘Do this,’ they do it.” (Matthew 28:18 NIV)Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. What Are You Believing In?  (Matthew 8:10 NLT) When Jesus heard this, he was amazed. Turning to those who were following him, he said, “I tell you the truth, I haven’t seen faith like this in all Israel! (Matthew 19:26 NLT) Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.” (Matthew 8:13 NLT) Then Jesus said to the Roman officer, “Go back home. Because you believed, it has happened.” And the young servant was healed that same hour.

Stepping into a promise!
Stepping into a promise! Joshua 1:2-4 NIV [2] “Moses my servant is dead. Now then, you and all these people, get ready to cross the Jordan River into the land I am about to give to them---to the Israelites. [3] I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses. [4] Your territory will extend… We all have a step of faith in front of us. Joshua 3:15 NIV Now the Jordan is at flood stage all during harvest. Yet as soon as the priests who carried the ark reached the Jordan and their feet touched the water's edge, the water from upstream stopped flowing. My step of faith makes a way for others. Joshua 3:17 NIV [17] The priests who carried the ark of the covenant of the Lord stopped in the middle of the Jordan and stood on dry ground, while all Israel passed by until the whole nation had completed the crossing on dry ground. Some steps of faith have a generation impact. Romans 5:1 TPT Our faith in Jesus transfers God's righteousness to us and he now declares us flawless in his eyes. This means we can now enjoy true and lasting peace with God, all because of what our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One, has done for us. Joshua 4:21-24 NIV [21] He said to the Israelites, “In the future when your descendants ask their parents, 'What do these stones [22] tell them, 'Israel crossed the Jordan on dry ground.' [23] For the Lord your God dried up the mean?'Jordan before you until you had crossed over. The Lord your God did to the Jordan what he had done to the Red Sea when he dried it up before us until we had crossed over. [24] He did this so that all the peoples of the earth might know that the hand of the Lord is powerful and so that you might always fear the Lord your God. ”
