Welcome back!
Another solo-pod with Brian! Today's topic is driven by the question, "why am I abandoning myself?"
This seems like a strange question on the surface, but when you start getting into it, you begin to recognize that a lot of what you do day-to-day is not actually FOR you, but to work AGAINST you.
When we sacrifice our wants and needs for ourselves to support others, how are we blocking ourselves? How are we avoiding the things we need to get done, or things we need to do to show up for ourselves?
How are we actually abandoning ourselves when we try to do things for others all the time?
This is a loaded question, and one Brian tries to break down in this episode.

Welcome back!
You might recognize the voice of the guest on this episode. Christopher Bean is back from an encore, and he and Brian rap about the fear of success.
We always hear about fear of success and failure, but what does fear of success really mean?
Christopher uses his story from obese to too skinny and finding his happy place as well as his coaching as an opportunity to draw scenarios and conclusions to better understand why some of us fear success.

Fellow Power Athlete Block One Coach, Dennis Dolan, stops by to rap with Brian.
DD is a high school athletic trainer in Kansas, and plays a major role in the communication between sports medicine and the strength and conditioning team.
Dennis describes how he found himself in the position he currently works in, the one he absolutely loves, and why it resembles how he educates, motivates and takes care of his high school athletes.

Welcome back!!
Dr. Sorr joins Brian as a he comes very highly recommended—He did not disappoint!
Dr. Sorr is a Naturopathic Doctor out of Scottsdale, Arizona improving the status quo of healthcare; live, heal, look, and move better.
He brings to light so many irregularities and a ton of dysfunction in health as we dive deep down the rabbit hole of digestive and gut health, testosterone and morning wood, lack of sleep as a form of torture, and the mind-body relationship. He also sheds light on gluten and glyphosate as we are slightly misguided in this area relating to our health and performance.
A truly enjoyable and educational episode!

Welcome back!
Solo shot with Brian today, and he’s diving into his “Wild Man Experience” down in Corpus Christi, Texas, hosted by Johnny Elsasser.
The event itself was absolutely fire! Learning to handle and shoot AR’s, shooting from helicopters, and tons of great food in beautiful south Texas. But, best of all, was the human connection created between a group of men, opening up about insecurities and struggles. Connection and bonds were created and so much learned about self. I truly amazing event that I cannot recommend highly enough! Dudes…check it out! Ladies, get your dudes there, and tell them Brian sent you!
Brian also dives into what it means to invest in yourself. Not just to have financial gain, or invest your money in stocks and such. But, to truly invest in your growth, your experience in life, and to learn. We as men are so hesitant to spend money on our experiences to learn and be vulnerable, to grow and become the next, more powerful version of ourselves. When we invest in ourselves a grow, we not only change our individual world, but the world and interactions with those around us.
Whether it be financial, in your health, you movement, whatever it may be…do yourself the favor and invest in yourself.

Episode 50!
50 episodes later, and every person I get to talk to brings me to a new level of learning, thought, and outlook.
This episode is no different, except I get to chat with my wife!
As a Marine, my wife knows about challenges. She is no stranger to hard work, as she grew up having to fight for everything she had.
We chat about different energies, our challenges that we've faced as a military couple, moving to a different part of the country, and just being married. The challenges run deep, from masculine and feminine energies, to just struggling to create our own individual experiences.
Whether you're a man or a woman, single or in a relationship, Morgan and I hope that you're able to learn from our experiences, both positive and negative, and walk away with some new interests.
If nothing else, remember, all things take work!
You can follow Morgan on Instagram, @theuncensoredyogini and Brian, @lifewelldunn.
