He has many great running and marathon stories, having completed several majors + marathons in 21 states while pursuing marathons in all 50 states. Just a couple months ago - John ran a marathon in Rhode Island in 2:56 on Saturday and then completed the Boston Marathon in 2:56 on Monday at age 49! He also just ran sub 2:50 at the Bayshore Marathon - hoping to qualify for the age group world championships.John told us about his marathon win at Area 51 (yes - the alien place), carrying his drop bag for 3 miles at the start of the NYC Marathon with Mike Korf, showed us his WWE belt buckle from another marathon win, and many more epic stories from his running journey to date.
