Dr. Ferial De Jongh completed her Bachelor of Science in Complementary Health Sciences in 2008 followed by a degree in Unani Tibb (Greek Arab Medicine). The first three and a half years of her career she spent at the Ibn Sina Institute of Tibb working at their two local Cape Town clinics while working at the old GF Jooster Hospital for one of those years.
She has, since graduating added on to her skills as she saw her patients needed them with courses and certificates in Facial Analysis and Tissue Salt Grading, Aafiyah Energy Healing and various Emotional Wellbeing and Mind-body Connection workshops. She's also furthered her knowledge and skills in herbal medicine compounding, a skill she is yet to further and put into practice. As a natural love to her since childhood is speaking and sharing and so it is no wonder that her current activities are practicing within her field, part time facilitation at the University of the Western Cape and as an added interest she produces and radio presents a weekly Health program called Healthwise on Radio 786, a holistic health program with the aim of bringing awareness to physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing.
