In 2019 I had the pleasure of interviewing him for another podcast and since starting out on my own, decided to reconnect with him earlier this  year to interview him for my new podcast.  While editing, I recently discovered that David had passed in April 2022.  This was one of his last interviews.David was kind, smart, funny and I truly enjoyed his conversations if only virtually. So many times children with terminal disabilities are busy with sick days and doctor appointments and don't have time to be a kid.
