Partial Obedience Is Disobedience
Transcript:
Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty MInute. God commanded Saul to be his agent of justice against the Amalekites. God told him to kill everything that breathed, including the animals and the king. But Saul instead saved the best of the animals, with the excuse that they could be offered in sacrifice. He spared the life of the king, one king doing a solid for another in the fraternity of kings. Eventually God stopped listening to Saul’s prayers. In desperation Saul turned to the occult for answers. The spirit of Samuel told him that God had shut him out because he had refused to obey him in the case of the Amalekites. The lesson here? Partial obedience is disobedience, and the consequences can be devastating. Let’s stop making excuses and start giving ourselves in complete obedience to God. And then we will start hearing from God again.

Today The Loyal Resistance Begins
Transcript:
Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. With the swearing in of a president who opposes everything we stand for, it’s time for our work as the loyal opposition, the loyal resistance, to begin. We are loyal above all to Christ our King, to the Bible as the infallible word of God, and to the Constitution of the United States. Our political leadership is now in the hands of people who are not loyal to any of that. But our loyalty to God, Scripture, and our country requires us to oppose those who are enemies of Christianity, the Constitution, and public morality. We do not hate them, we just profoundly disagree with them, and are compelled to fight them with every spiritual and political weapon at our disposal. As a wise man once said, “We must not confuse dissent with disloyalty. When the loyal opposition dies, the soul of America dies with it.”

On Masculine Friendship
Transcript:
The soul of Jonathan was knit to the soul of David , and Jonathan loved David as he loved his own soul. That’s First Samuel 18:1. Bryan Fischer here with the Life andLiberty Minute. This verse introduces us to one of the great masculine friendships in the Bible. David and Jonathan committed themselves to each other through a covenant. Jonathan told David he would always have his back when the heat was on, and David told Jonathan that he would always have his back. Jonathan stuck up for his friend when he was falsely accused, defended him, and tried to help others see the truth about his friend, even in front of powerful people. Now this turned out to be something of a one-sided relationship. Jonathan did far more giving than getting in this masculine friendship, and did it without resentment, the mark of a true friend. Let’s be a Jonathan to someone today.

Jealousy Can Eat Us Up And Destroy Us
Transcript:
“Saul sought to pin David to the wall with the spear, but he eluded Saul so that he struck the spear into the wall.” Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. The spirit of jealousy consumed Saul in his relationship with David. His jealousy opened a door to a demonic spirit that entered his life and destroyed him. He envied David because of his youth, his looks, his success, his talent, his charisma, and his popularity. He became so threatened he tried to murder him. The lesson here: it’s critical for us to reject every temptation to be jealous of others and instead choose to recognize that their success and ability come from God. Let’s choose to accept that the success others enjoy is God’s will for them, and that his will for us is to focus on the role that God has assigned to us and to serve him faithfully there whether anybody notices us or not.

Sportswriter Jason Whitlock Has Best Analysis Of Trump Crisis
Transcript:
Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. The best analysis by far of the Trump crisis has been written by a sportswriter, Jason Whitlock. He says the media and swamp creatures in both parties are making a tragic mistake by ignoring the desires, concerns, and feelings of 74 million Trump voters. He says, “You cannot write them off as Nazis and answer all their complaints with allegations of racism or sexism.” That, he says, is fascism. But, he writes, “Trump supporters will not go away quietly or peacefully. It’s their country too. Their concerns are legitimate...theirs is the cry of the working class who believe Big Tech billionaires are building an America that cuts them out of the American dream. And Whitlock concludes, “The price of ignoring their cries will be war, civil war.” May his wise counsel be embraced before it’s too late.

Repressive Fascists Are Determined To Silence Conservatives
Transcript:
Bryan Fischer here with the Life and Liberty Minute. The First Amendment guarantees to every individual American the right to freedom of speech. But regressives in America could care less about freedom of speech or any other part of the Constitution. Twitter has banned President Trump from its platform, as has Facebook. The unholy trinity of Google, Amazon, and Apple has destroyed Parler, the conservative alternative to Twitter. And Nancy Pelosi is determined to impeach Trump a second time just to keep him from running in twenty-twenty four. This is classic tyrannical Marxism, to keep conservatives from speaking or holding office. These are not the days for the summer patriot and the sunshine soldier. We must not shrink back; Insead, we must put on the full armor of God and prepare to engage the Prince of Darkness on the field of spiritual battle.

Trump: One Of Greatest Presidential Legacies In American History
Transcript:
Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. Joe Biden’s stolen election has been certified by Congress, so he’ll be our next president, for good or ill. Meanwhile, we must never forget the proud legacy that President Trump has left behind. He did more to protect the sanctity of life than any president in our history. He did more to protect religious liberty than any president since the Founders. He did more to protect the Constitution through his judicial appointments than any president before him. He protected American sovereignty by securing our southern border. He led an astounding economic recovery that provided more jobs for more Americans of all races than any president before him. He led us to energy independence and restored America to its place as the greatest force for good on planet earth. Mr. President, I thank God for you.
