Possibly my new favorite from the Circe Network. Informative and entertaining at the same time. This is the perfect way to get a little “book fix” in when I can’t take the time to actually sit down and read.

David Kern has outdone himself with this new podcast. I have long been a follower of Close Reads and enjoy the weekly episodes. This serves to expand on the discussion of all things literary. I have found my people!

I was thrilled to receive word of this podcast today! I’m very happy to have some book recommendations from a respected critic...just in time to add some last-minute ideas for my Christmas list! Looking forward to the next episode.

This is another fantastic offering from the Close Reads Podcast Network. Thank you for yet again offering just the type of podcast I love to listen to! Before the Close Reads Pods, I never expected I would look forward to cleaning and folding laundry! 😉

After listening to the first episode I know this will be a fantastic addition to the collection of podcasts on the Close Reads Network. I enjoy taking a glimpse behind the scenes, so bring on the authors, designers, bookstore owners, critics, publishers and those who make the bookish world go round!

I’m just going to go ahead and give this my hugest ‘thumbs up’ as I have every confidence that it will live up to all five stars. And then some.

Sometimes in life there are people that you blindly trust because you know they know more than you. I feel sure that I can rate this five stars before I listen to the episodes because Close Reads pods hasn’t disappointed yet. (And in the event that they do, I’ll resubmit a different rating.) (😆😉)
