I highly recommend this podcast. The guests are consistently brilliant and Kate Wand asks questions that challenge the guests. She also allows the guests to answer fully, never interrupting. I find myself listening to each episode several times, so I don’t miss a word.

Although I’m an ideological kin, I find podcasts like this boring. It’s like watching kids play tee-ball. The host sets the question on the tee, and the guest whacks the answers in very predictable directions. Spontaneity is lacking. I prefer some friction associated with challenging, if not adversarial, grilling.
