I really hate to be so critical of this podcast but it was not enjoyable to listen to. Why write a review? Well, I can hear a spark. These two are interesting in some great topics, and they have a fresh perspective. It’s so fresh, however, it sounds a bit like they just learned about it last semester. It’s also so fresh that they’re just sorta riffing through this conversation, but not with very much skill or intention. I live in Asia, so if you’re going to present ideas about different parts of Asia, it might be a good idea to have a better grasp of what you’re talking about. On pretty much every topic, the presenters clearly have a limited understanding of the topic at hand. This can be fixed! You can make an agenda ! You can do research! You can put effort into this thing and do it on a regular basis! This isn’t stars half empty - it’s stars half full. But I won’t listen to it anymore because it’s giving me an aneurism.
