Being diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL) is no doubt extremely hard-going for the child themselves but being the parent of a child with a new diagnosis of ALL can be devastating and overwhelming. 

In this episode, we talk to parents Dolores and Des and hear their personal story of how they and their family came to learn about the diagnosis of Ciara with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL). We hear how the family initially dealt with hearing of this new diagnosis and how they coped with the journey through treatment. Dolores and Des share their emotional story with us and offers their advice to other parents of a child with ALL.
