Sean is a 2015 Graduate of Effingham High School where he was Class President and Co-Valedictorian. He is an active alumnus of the Effingham CEO Program. In 2019, Sean earned a degree in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is currently a second-year law student at Saint Louis University School of Law as an 1843 Scholar, a full-tuition scholarship.

Sean has owned and operated a number of small businesses while in school and is currently a co-owner and "Chief Financial Officer" of The Vagabond Eatery, a local coffee, and food truck operating out of a vintage restored 1963 camper. Sean also hosts his own podcast, The Sean Sandifer Show, where he talks about many topics including financial wellness, entrepreneurship, and politics.
