Dragon gets a letter from his friend Victoria, a T-Rex who is on tour at the Houston Museum of Natural Science! We travel there with Dragon to visit her and along the way learn all about dinosaurs and prehistoric reptiles. Our friends at the museum, Matti and Kelsey, lead us through a touch tour of different dino-related artifacts, show us how paleontologists identify and classify different prehistoric creatures, and teach us how to really walk like a T-Rex. Back in New York, we write about and design our own dinosaurs (and prehistoric reptiles!) with Donnie!

This episode is all about routines, the things we do every day. As we learn what it means to have a routine, we meet the LWA Train a subway train who talks about maps, routes, and transfers. We sing the Morning Routine Song with some old friends and finally design our own maps to help navigate our days.

"Symphony of Snivels"
A symphony of snivels
everyone plays their part,
from the quiet and polite
to the loudest SNORT!
A symphony of snivels
for everyone to hear,
they practice spring through fall,
for their big Winter premier.
It's a symphony of snivels
grab a tissue or a cloth
and if you want an encore
well you better get a mop!

A short poem about a nice idea.
"The Love Truck"
The love truck carries all my colors
Reds, blues, greens, and yellows
It picks them up from all over town
and drops them off if I’m feeling down

A swirling whirling poem about how it feels to get a creative idea, or one too many creative ideas.
"Tornado Brain"
Tornado brain!
Tornado brain!
I hope it doesn’t start to rain!
I’m scared of lightning,
I’m scared of thunder,
and rain in my brain
would be a real blunder.
Tornado brain!
Tornado brain!
I hope I don’t get blown away!
My head’s so clouded up with thoughts
I can’t remember what I forgot
Tornado brain!
Tornado brain!
Swirling dreams I can’t contain.
They pick me up
and spin me round
topsy-turvy
upside down!

It's always frustrating to lose a good recipe!
"Walrus Stew"
Where’s my recipe for walrus stew?
I know it takes both tusks
and a little salt too.
It must call for whiskers
and flippers,
but was it one lump of blubber or two?
Ugh!
Where’d I put that recipe for my walrus stew?

A funny, sci-fi kids poem about a robot takeover! Watch on YouTube: https://youtu.be/bQaWENv6d3A
"Robot O'Clock"
The time is nigh
Tick-tock, tick-tock
Don’t you know?
It’s Robot O’Clock
Forget the nuts
It’s time to bolt!
Quickly, swiftly
escape, ctrl, alt!
They’ll march in twos
and march in threes
right down the street
they’re all machines!
We made them smart
And now they’re mad,
every micro chip brain
Gone haywire, gone bad!
Oh no!
Oh my!
Does not Compute!
It’s too late now!
Bee-boop,
Bee-boop

In this episode we explore books. We'll practice a deep breathing technique called Dragon's Breath to visit my friend dragon at his library and borrow a book to use with our writing. Then Donnie will show you a trick for borrowing a word or sentence from your favorite book to begin your own poem or story.
