I’ve been trying to find a good cobra Kai podcast and all of them weren’t working out for me. I came across this podcast and it was amazing. I love hearing their thoughts on what happened. And I love revisiting the karate kid/cobra Kai through their words.

2025 Update: I'm glad you guys stopped doing the 20 minute, 5 part episodes for the final season. It was getting pretty rough for me to focus on a week by week basis. Thank goodness for the feedback getting you guys back on track. In my opinion, longer episodes are better :) No mercy! Original review: Love listening to these guys. Their format is a beat-by-beat review of the show which I appreciate. They usually interject facts, recite lines from the show to help tell the story, and sometimes include their own experiences if a moment from the show is relatable to them. I always look forward to the next episode review!

Been listening to Jason and Sal since they started ahead of season 3, because that is right around the time I started watching! Jason is a great producer with excellent taste, and Sal is a total delight lacking any sort of pretense. Together they’re a great odd couple of sorts, and that’s what makes their banter work so well. Don’t stop guys!!

I don’t have any family/friends who are CK fans (IKR?!?), but every week I get to hang out with two cool guys who love to get all kai’d out and dig in! Thanks for doing this!

This show is so good. I love to listen to while walking, doing chores, and just lounging around the house. Love the energy, keep it up.

I’m a kid from the 80s so Karate Kid was formative for me growing up. Probably like 10 yrs ago, I made a facebook post about wanting to see Daniel & Johnny team up against Kreese/Silver in Pt 3. I’m so happy the show came out like it has and your breakdowns/analysis has been great to follow. Also, I’m a Leo, too, so go Kings of the Jungle! What other spin-offs do you envision that haven’t come up already? Any chance Dutch comes back into the universe? Thanks for the excellent content!

This podcast is the one that made me really love Cobra Kai. To be honest, I have never seen full episodes of the show, but because of this podcast breaking each episode down scene by scene along with clips and reactions I’ve seen on YouTube I have pieced together the entire show. This podcast is the glue that fills in the blanks on the best show around for me. The other show I enjoy is the Cobra Guys Podcast

Really love the podcast. I have gotten many of my friends hooked on the show, and I am glad I have Chozen a podcast that shares my passion for Cobra Kai.

Great show, but this season has been super frustrating bc the pods have not been timely. I hope all is well with you both and your families. And I know this is free entertainment. But know your timely input is greatly missed.

I have absolutely loved your guys’ show from day 1 and this is an awesome intro. You guys are totally my bros in my headspace. Keep up the great art and I will forever listen. I would even be down with a rewatch starting from season 1 episode 1 as it relates to todays world and events. Love these guys! They’re a bit older so have a true appreciation and memory for the original movies (which adds a nice layer of personal stories) along with a love for the show. They do their research and their dynamic is hilarious. Will never forget Sals stories about being a juvenile delinquent and feeling for Robbie haha

I’m late to the Cobra Kai train and Karate Kid. I binged watched all the episodes and immediately looked for a podcast. This one was the best of all of the ones out there! I have listened to all the shows now and it’s been great! Thanks for all you do.

NO REVIEW IN 2WEEKS. I only gave this rating because of the lapse in between episodes. As a fan it would have been appreciated if the listeners were updated with show updates regarding why there are no episodes on the scheduled date.

I’ve been remiss in not writing this sooner. Been listening for quite a while now and love this podcast as well as other Just Curious shows like That’s a Crime. When Cobra Kai seasons are released, I try to watch one ep per week so that I can time each one to be a day or two before the breakdown provided by Jason and Sal. But as Sal notes, it’s hard to avoid spoilers. In any case, it’s great to re-live it with these guys. I always pick up things I missed or learn more things that fans wanna know. When life is hard, it’s fun to watch CK and it’s a joy to listen to Jason and Sal. -Mindy

The deep dives into the original Karate Kid movies are fantastic. The special episodes are hilarious and allow us fans to geek out. This podcast has everything Cobra Kai fans need.

Really entertaining show. Hosts are the right age (Gen X nostalgia!) and don’t take themselves or CK too seriously. I laughed aloud several times listening to their recaps. Thanks for sharing your experience at Sylmar juvenile detention facility, Sal! 😂

I really like these guys. They are the perfect mix of nostalgic fans of the movie but can still make some valid critiques that make it funny. They also bring their own lives to the discussion but not too much. It’s not about them but about the Karate Kid/Cobra Kai Universe. Smart insightful level headed guys.

I was looking for a cobra Kai podcast and this is best by far, I have listened to every episode multiple times and I really enjoy it every time. I can’t wait for season 4 of cobra Kai then to listen to you guys. And for the record Miyagi died when Sam was 10, so assuming he knew her as a baby she would have known him for 10 years.

I’m so happy I found this podcast. The show Cobra Kai is awesome and the next best thing is this podcast. I binged all these podcasts after finishing season 3 of Cobra Kai. These guys really get into the details of the show and they are a real pleasure to listen to. They are obviously big fans of the show and the Karate Kid movies, and they seem like really nice guys as well.

Season 1 episodes seemed decent. They seemed to stay on topic mostly and examine each episode decently. While it doesn’t surprise me that people who’d be into this show would have the life outlook they do and who Johnny is in the show is really who I believe this character would’ve become, the podcasters need to remember this is the 20-teens / 2020s. Re: Season 2, Ep. 1 in the diner, women have been putting up with unacceptable advances / comments from men for years. The waitress had every right to not be ok with Kreese’s behavior. Or the comments about how Daniel has his wife and Johnny needs a ‘good woman’ behind him. Let boys be boys is long overdue to be done. You definitely need to look at this approach to women through a modern day view. Remember, the initial altercation btw. Johnny and Daniel was because of a girl, Ali. And the point should be that they eventually learn something from this / learn to be their own people, not treat women like property. The best thing for you as podcasters (and Daniel and Johnny as characters) is to evolve in your thinking about how you treat women. Mental / physical strength and discipline and standing up to bullies are key themes of this show, yet the idea about how to treat women has a core place in this universe as well. I don’t know if you discuss this differently in future episodes, yet it seemed important to mention as you think about how you approach talking about the Cobra Kai show.

This is a very good Cobra Kai podcast and has the potential to be the best one if it wasn't for Sal. He derails the conversation with an absurd amount of self-promotion and tells ridiculous stories that stray off topic, go on far too long, and clearly have been exaggerated. It's not necessary. He also doesn't remember the show accurately at all which seems important for a podcast. It's too bad, this podcast is very close to being great. With Sal, it's mediocre at best. Sorry guys.

It’s very entertaining and insightful, I stumbled upon LTCK because of the show discussions but their love of Karate Kid is contagious, I even gave Karate Kid III another chance and found myself enjoying it. I also love the bits shared about Reseda from time to time. Eager for more!

After binge watching the first two seasons of Cobra Kai last August, I needed more of the Cobra Kai universe. I immediately turned to the world of podcasting. I found this podcast & fell in love with “Let’s Talk Cobra Kai.” Jason & Sal do a great job by breaking down each episode and offering their perspective. They have great chemistry and keep me entertained. I always look forward to when a new podcast comes out. Great job, guys. This podcast never dies!

I appreciate the insight and positive attitude of the podcast. The hosts are excellent at not being snarky at the minor details that are less than stellar about the show or movies. The podcasts is excellently laid out and gives us insight from acting, actual filming locations, and Material Arts. I am excited for their season 3 podcasts.

This podcast perfectly dissects Cobra Kai and all of its details about the show. The guys are organized and in-depth regarding all the details in the show that make rewatching it even better after listening. Couldn’t ask for a better podcast that explores all that is great with Cobra Kai, which by the way perfectly as a show mixes nostalgia with present day real life youth trials and tribulations. Keep up the great work. Can’t wait for Season 3 and beyond!
