Last time I spoke to Derek he was the “fun to hang with goofball that had great taste in music”... that was several years ago. When I saw the post saying he was starting this I threw it on my list. After binge listening to these all day I can say without a doubt that this is an intellectual man with a tremendous sense of self awareness as well as a clear sight on life’s “big picture” (but he’s probably still a goofball). I look forward to the future of this podcast and won’t miss an episode for sure. Keep it up Derek.

I absolutely love this podcast. Derek is an amazing host who is not afraid to state is opinion, but does so in a kind and respectable manner. He’s also always open to hearing others points of view, and is not at all close minded to his mind being changed; at the same time he is the furthest from being a “yes man.” I’m in love with this thought provoking podcast!
