Yesterday for the first time three international aircraft landed on the island, something that could not have been done before the opening of the Argyle International Airport. Instead of celebrating this accomplishment, the negative comments and ridiculous statements that followed were disheartening. It got me thinking about the recurring theme of some Vincentians who seem to only be interested in our country falling. So let's talk about it.

With all the hooplah and issues surrounding the vaccine and COVID-19, here are some thoughts that I have. We need to be practical in our thinking and remember that people are watching and follow what we say.

I speak about things in the Caribbean that we need to unlearn. Many Caribbean families are rooted in such toxic thinking and behaviors, we need to unlearn so many things in order to move forward in society.
