Been slowly working my way through the backlog and it’s been nothing but good times and good songs. The classic LMaM episodes are very good, but I feel like they’ve really hit a groove with the new lineup. All the music is better than it has any right to be. Can’t wait for their return!

Love these fun guys! I grew up with They Might Be Giants and that’s sort of the vibe of LMAM’s music as a whole- lots of different genres, ideas, and levels of sense-making in lyrics, but consistent fun and enthusiasm. The chaos is a feature, not a bug. I got into this because I follow Brian on a few other platforms, so I was expecting that he’d be my favorite on this podcast, but Laura, Karen, and Jonah all bring something different and fun to the table! I laugh, I cry, I re-listen to the whole discography when I’m anxious, it’s good podcasting, folks.

While the lyrics don’t always make the most sense, these songs are amazingly produced and they’ve all quickly become favorites. And the episodes are only half an hour long, so they’re an easy listen.

Listen to Mr.1981. It gave me chills. Not even joking. So good.

This podcast always puts a smile on my face! The music they write and perform is honestly so good!!! I bought a bunch of songs on their bandcamp! I’m listening to them right now. Every song has amazing and funny/silly lyrics that work really well (they don’t just write one bridge & the chorus and call it a day). and the music itself is super well done! And the songs are all really different styles/genres, which is impressive to me. Plus the podcast that leads up to the song is funny and relaxing and enjoyable. I can’t believe they packed so much entertainment in under 30 minutes every time!

I was introduced to this podcast by a friend a few weeks ago, but i haven't checked it out until now. I'm so glad i did though, as this is one of my favorite podcasts of the past year. It's such a delightful show, full of so much creativity and life. This podcast is so bright and fun, would highly recommend!

I found this podcast because I am a BDG fan, and it does not disappoint. It’s funny and engaging. The music is somehow hilarious, ridiculous, and catchy all at once. Binge-worthy show.

If you’ve ever wanted to make music, please be inspired by this thoughtful podcast. Art requires play, and these people know how to play! Karen Han’s singing voice is beautiful, and Laura has the most soothing speaking voice. This program is a bright light shining through the end times. I hope they keep it up!

I stumbled upon this podcast totally randomly, and when that theme song started I was just like “wait a second... is that Brian David Gilbert from Unraveled?” and it was. I had no idea he was a musician, super cool Giving it a real listen though, it took me back to my old high school band, and how we used to write songs. Sitting around, having a rough idea and just playing with it, tossing stuff out and experimenting. In most of my more recent bands usually people bring a song that already is mostly there, and we just figure out our parts, which is still very collaborative and fun, but it just doesn’t have that same spark that really dedicating that time to make something together has. This podcast has that magic. The songs are really great too. The music is tight and interesting, and all of the singing is good too. The musical ideas are super solid and diverse. I really love musicians who aren’t afraid to learn and grow and experiment, and you get this here for sure. And no matter where they take it it just works. I’m a huge fan of both the concept and the execution, give this thing a listen. And check them out on bandcamp too, they don’t run ads, but do provide eps for your listening pleasure, and it is pleasurable for sure

This brings joy during the corona times that we’re all forced to go through together! I can’t believe more people aren’t listening to this show, especially with the success that BDG has gained on YouTube. Definitely recommended for the personality alone, with lovely music that comes out of it to boot.

This is a delight! These hosts are very kind and fun, they make it interesting to sit in on the brainstorming session before songwriting. The songs they make are way more quality than necessary for a podcast, and it’s super impressive.

I missed experiencing the first run of this show in real time and was DELIGHTED to see its return! It’s been such a quarantine balm to listen to folks still coming together to have fun and produce art, and of course all the songs are the perfect mix of “hilarious” and “total banger.” Hunk Night Summer will be a fave for ages to come, but my top spot has to go to Song of Green Bastion for drawing its inspiration from my very own tweet! Love you guys and so glad you’re back and sharing the fun you’re having with all of us again!

I got into lmam in early 2019 and was sad that I'd just missed the eps as they were happening, so when the return of new episodes was announced needless to say I was ecstatic. The comedy is wonderful and just what you need in 2020, the song production quality is better than it has any right to be, and the addition of Karen Han to the crew has been EXCELLENT. This is probably my favorite podcast and I get so pumped whenever I listen! You will NOT regret checking this podcast out :D

You’d think that since the verbal part of this podcast episode is so charming they probably aren’t focusing all that much on the music, but somehow every song these guys make is a bop to end all bops.

This podcast is one of the funniest I’ve listened to and never fails to cheer me up, and there’s a complete BOP at the end of every episode!!! The songs just keep getting better and better and honestly it’s a little bit disturbing how great they are musically after the chaos that is the preceding podcast episode
