This episode was a shift in the series, especially for Ziggy as she sat in the seat that our guest sat in to confront her struggles with being Vulnerable. Ziggy and Loren both realized that to truly connect with their audience, they too have to “Get Candid” about their lives and journeys. Both of them showed the world parts of themselves no one has ever heard before, even close friends and family. They spoke about the willingness to come to a place of confidence to accept that their stories are not perfect but raw, sensitive and at times painful.

In her new book, Daring Greatly, Brené Brown describes vulnerability as "uncertainty, risk, and emotional exposure." It's that unstable feeling we get when we step out of our comfort zone or do something that forces us to loosen control. Throughout the discussion Ziggy was noticeably uncomfortable as she confronted her struggles with opening up. Loren with her “empathic persona” created the perfect environment for Ziggy to conquer her fears.
