Ok. Ok. We know this sounds realllllllly depressing, but it's not. It's encouraging and uplifting. I mean, we still know how to laugh and we still do it pretty often, so don't trip.
In this episode, we talked with Dr. Brandon Hart of Legacy Health Chiropractic about why he went into chiropractic care, transitioning from Atlanta to Huntsville, and the fear that comes along with opening a new business. He tells us about how he and his wife, Rashida, work through challenges and obstacles together and how they keep the lines of communication open.
It was dope. All that. Check it out. Make sure you stay and listen for our "What did I learn from Netflix" segment. Somebody help me find a friend like Martin Scorsese.

Good Question. Maybe you can help us figure this out. We talked about the difference between recent women rappers and the ones from "back in our day". Is there a difference? Is Lei a prude? Are we just old now?
I guess we'll find out. What else?? Uh, Netflix watches, our upcoming interview with our City Council President, Devyn Keith, and what news anchor personality we are.
And if you're not a Megan Thee Stallion fan either, some other dope women rappers that we love.
Thanks for listening, hit us up on social, and keep an eye out for our next group therapy.

This episode is Hella Late, BUUUTTTT, it is here.
Carly was pretty sick and you can tell she was barely holding on to her voice for this episode.
Our Hot Topic was Kanye West performing at Howard which turned into and became part of our conversation on Cancel Culture. What does it mean to cancel someone or something if two months, six months or even a year later they're not anymore?? Who's canceled and whose just on the naughty list?
Did we cancel the right people? Who do you think should be canceled??

Unless something magical happens, this is our VERY LAST Black Girl Magic interview! We have enjoyed this so much and we've made so many new friends that are now family! There is no way to express the amount of gratitude we feel to everyone that sat down with us and shared. It was something that will stay with us forever. Last but not least...
For our last interview, we have International Model, Author, CEO of KeLaChe' Ventures, and during the day, NASA employee, Kerri Davis. She came and shared a story with us that is very personal. In this interview, we discussed relationship red flags. We started with first dates, what are the red flags and what's just "annoying". How do you determine if the other person gets date #2? Then we took it a step further and got into the football analogies. What about the guy that does everything right and gets through your first line of defense? What does that relationship look like? Kerri was very open with her story and we hope it will help someone else that may be in the same situation.
Now, for the fun stuff! Kerri's experience motivated her to become an Advocate for Domestic Violence Survivors. Every year she puts on a fundraiser for Crisis Services of North Alabama. This year that fundraiser is the Indigo Ambiance Fantastic Dreams Lingerie Fashion Show. She gives us all the info about what to expect, tickets, and this VIP situation! If you check out our FB or Instagram you'll even see an opportunity for you to win a couple of these tickets! A big THANK YOU to Sultry Boutique for sponsoring all the lingerie for this epic night of fashion! Links below for more info.

NEW NAME ALERT: We're the TRINITY. Because we're the trinity of water signs. MEANT.TO.BE.
We've been waiting to do this interview since we started and it was so worth it. Sometimes, we think we can tell a person's story just by looking at them. We get so consumed with our story that we forget just because someone's smiling, doesn't mean they're not hurting, even though we do the very same thing every day. Like many of us, Sharonda's story is one of multiple rebuilds. Having to get back up, dust yourself off, and try again. She definitely doesn't look like what she's been through and we're so grateful she chose to share her story with us. Of course, we still managed to have some laughs.
FashionfirebrandSharondaGrandberryisafreshparadigmshiftwho’sdefiningbeautyand success on her own terms.
A multi-talented force in modeling, style, and entrepreneurship, Sharonda is a dedicated advocate of helping women, particularly mothers, to breathe passion, confidence, and sophistication into their everyday looks and lives. With years of personal development and military experience in the United States Army at the helm, the Alabama-native’s motivation for lending her purpose to women all over the globe is based on the United States Army acronym LDRSHIP: loyalty, duty, respect, service, honor, integrity, and personal courage.
Committed to her purpose, Sharonda’s voice of empowerment and style led her to the runway as a plus model. Modeling in markets like Cuba, Atlanta, North Carolina, New York, Florida, and Jamaica, Sharonda has quickly made a name for herself as a powerhouse on and off the runway. In 2016, she was named a Curvy and Fabulous model by RHOA star Cynthia Bailey, was crowned Miss Alabama Black Expo in 2017 and landed in the top eight for Finding Ashley, presented by fashion retailer Ashley Stewart in 2018. Just recently, Sharonda was announced as the 2019 Face of Queen Size Magazine and winner of the Salute to Military contest, honoring soldiers that served their country and continue to serve their community. Most recently, Sharonda was featured in InStyle Magazine as a personality that drives NYFW forward toward a more size-inclusive future. Her philanthropic efforts consist of programs and events that focus on giving back to families and children.
The thread that connects Sharonda’s work is driven by her passion to connect women with the wisdom and tools needed to unlock their unlimited potential, love themselves unconditionally, and live their very best lives. Though her passion, Sharonda’s love for her lifework cannot compare to her greatest joy: her family. A wife and mother of three, Sharonda’s focus has always been to wake up every morning with the determination to make an impact on her family and her community. Her impact is perfectly illustrated in a passage from her book, Diary of a Ready Woman, “To survive without living isn’t survival at all but to survive and live again shows a resilience that’s undeniably a mystery of our faith."

You know the rest! Lizzo's VMA performance was a moment of pure magic. It meant more to us than we could have ever imagined. We even realized some things about ourselves that we didn't know. There were some demons hiding that reared their ugly heads, but thanks to LIzzo, we're learning to put them back in their place. Since we didn't have a guest this week, we did some Hot Topics and it got HOT. But, back to the good stuff. We just wanna say: Lizzo if you hear this, you're always welcome on Let Me Tell You Something!
Enjoy and thanks for listening!

Yeah, we got crazy with the driving metaphors, but how could we not?? Way too much opportunity!
Anyway, our topic for this episode is "Staying in Your Lane". We're breaking down what "stay in your lane" means for ourselves, times when we were all cris-crossing out of lanes and how that worked out, and what it means to master your own gifts. This episode should illuminate to you and to us, how to find your lane and how to live happily in it!
Our guest for this episode is Victoria Jones, a local singer songwriter and a just all around cool person. Her bio and social media links are below, so check her out and FOLLOW!!
Huntsville Singer/Songwriter Victoria Jones is a soulful blend of neo-soul, pop, and R&B. She began writing music at the age of fifteen. Inspired by life, people and the world around her, Victoria Jones seeks to write music that speaks to everyday life and convey this simple truth:
"We are all going through a process. Our dreams, our work, our life and the boldness in which we lead, all amount to Love-- the laying down of ourselves to edify someone else.”

We love the show Grown-ish and after Carly attended a workshop last week for Gen Z(THANK YOU, ERIN!), she came back with a question that came up: How do you know when you're grown? There is a differing of opinions on this one; Lei thinks it's once you can pay your own bills, Carly thinks it's that and life experience, and Mo didn't really have an opinion. While we may have differing opinions on what it means, there are some things we can agree on...like the fact that if someone had told us some of these things our journey to grown would've have probably been a lot easier.
We cover some hot topics like "Lion King" (RAWR), dodgeball, and VOTING!! Enjoy and let us know on Insta or Facebook the pieces of advice that have or are helping you get GROWN!
We hope this helps our Gen Z'ers and anyone else that may need it. We're giving you 30+ pieces of advice on Self, Relationships, and Career. Quite a few of these we've had to learn the hard way. Remember to FOCUS!
