I enjoyed the audio drama, but many times found it hard to follow. Sometimes the voices did not change when they should have. And THAT was the ending?? SO abrupt and anticlimactic! Many questions left unanswered. Who exactly is Talc, for example? Why did the 5 have to engage in so much unsuccessful “copping” instead of inseminating the women? Why was Eros so desperate for drugs that he would make some kind of deal with Rebecca?

I just finished listening. Great podcast, characters and storytelling. I noted several other reviewers wondering when the podcast will be updated and how it will end. I actually think Season 3 Episode 8 was the end... *SPOILER ALERT* We see the most balanced, dedicated and respected characters slowly evolving into a presidential candidate. She is doing it for what she believes are all the right and necessary reasons. She believes she won’t make the same mistakes as her predecessors because she loves the final five (six). But what choices will she be forced to make? We see one of the final five allowing himself to be manipulated by the current president into lying to his most cherished friends, and agreeing to go along with terrible schemes, all in the name of saving the world and someone he loves. Sounds familiar...? I think the story ended at the new beginning of the next and perhaps last generation of leaders who will be forced to make terrible decisions. They will be forced to choose between saving the human race or their own humanity.

It was a little rough the first few episodes but man this is one of my favorite podcasts! It just sucked me in completely and made the work day fly by. I wish they would update though! I need to know how it ends!!

Everything about this story is so good. The music, the cliff hangers, the storyline, the characters! I love(d) listening to it until I finished in 2 weeks. The fact that a podcast has a depth to it that at times, makes you think on a personal level outside of just listening to a story says a lot in my book on how great it is, and it’s the only one that has accomplished that for me! Great show!

Interesting idea but not well executed as the acting has no emotion.

Glad it became more clear who what speaking in later seasons. Where is chapter 7 in season 3?! I searched online and everywhere I clicked said it’s not available. It jumps from 6 to 8. 🙁

Intriguing story, believable characters that are easily related to, a little confusing about who is speaking in the first season but better in the next seasons. Lots of unexpected story twists and overall really great! Wish more people would give it a listen!

The audio quality is really annoying with how inconsistent it is. But the plot line is good and worth listening to.

I like the format/build, the production values are solid, the characters are engaging. I've been stuck more than once on a few of the scientific realities of only 6 members of a breeding project but I get that we're just suspending all the disbelief here and that it's really not about that (possibly IN the world created as well). Mostly a fun listen - I wanted to be more sucked in but that didn't happen, it's a solid listen and I don't regret the time spent with it.

This show is a wild ride through the best kind of dystopian future. Imagine if Hunger Games and Handmaid's Tale had a baby and it was ONE OF SIX CHILDREN LEFT IN THE WORLD.

Lesser Gods has become one of my favorite podcasts and I love seeing it pop up in my feed. A cast of trashfire characters who I worry so much about!! You will be invested in all of your new last people on earth children.

Love how season 2 leaves off! Rhea finally does right and I love her for it! Can’t wait for season 3...

Just found this. Loving it. Just what I was looking for!

This podcast is addictive. Its dystopian and dramatic with a bunch of young protagonists. I can easily imagine this being turned into a must see tv show.

I’m sorry if you like this but this show is nothing more than teenage drama, even though the characters are supposed to be adults. If you like he-said-she-said drama then this show is for you.

Great story and I love the use of different narrators to tell each character’s point of view. Excited to hear Season 3!

Rewording my review because I’ve definitely 100% listened to this in its entirety an embarrassing amount of times. I use any excuse I can to listen to the whole thing in a day. Long car ride? New episodes about to come out? Need some background noise? Literally no matter what I’m choosing this again.

I binged this podcast's first season. I can't get over how quickly and thoroughly it hooked me. I love the writing and the story and the characters. There's a twist that I definitely didn't see coming (which I always love). I can't recommend this series enough. Season 2 is coming out strong and I can’t wait to hear more!

Loved loved LOVED Lesser Gods. I had to rewind every now and again to make sure I knew who was speaking but other than that - PHENOMENAL. Adored the characters and am super impressed by the creativity. Can we get more PLEASE??

This is a really great story! The only flaw is the same person plays multiple characters which is a little confusing.

What a setting Lesser Gods presents. Population crushed, technology advanced, punishment from the "Gods" rained upon humanity. It's one hell of a narrative prompt. The characters are enchanting as well, all of them so perfectly flawed. The story is presented basically 100% through direct narration, which can be a little dry, and I'd love to hear a more diverse set of voices. America's a melting pot, where are the accents? The feelings of other cultures present in this world? Great Great stuff at the end of the day, really loving it!

This is an excellent example of audio drama. I can recommend it highly.

Vivid setting, fun characters, immaculate voice acting. Unequivocally the best lesser-known fiction podcast I've found so far. Manages to pull off the "geberations-with-themed-names" trope without the usual sacrifice to verisimilitude. Keep doing what you're doing!

Great characters, engaging story, and awesome production values

I really like this podcast. It's a bit confusing at first because when a character is talking, that person also voices the other characters that they're interacting with. Once you realize this, it's easy to follow along. The voice acting, sound quality, and editing are good. The story is really creative, I think. Like I said in the review title - it's like a dystopian Gossip Girl, but with a better plot.
