Leisure Matters
Leisure plays an essential role in individual, community and national development, contributing to the quality of life and well-being, the enhancement of social relationships and social capital and as a place of expression and engagement in democratic life (World Leisure Organization). This podcast is one of the knowledge sharing and advocacy channels for the World Leisure Centre of Excellence at Vancouver Island University.
Our centre is focused exploring ways to use leisure to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals and how to make the leisure industry more sustainable.
