It was fascinating hearing from 2012 OIympic Diver, Rachel 'Buggy' Bugg about what it took to qualify for her very first Olympics at London.
Rachel also interestingly spoke about how she's scared of heights too which makes you appreciate even more what she has achieved in her career. We also spoke about advice for new Olympians and how Rach would've dealt with the postponement of the Tokyo Olympics.
Thanks so much to Rachel for her time and giving us a great insight into what it was like being an Olympian and thanks to Rory Noke from PodBooth for filming and putting this great video together!

For the first time ever on Legends with Bevo, I interviewed three people at the same time on Zoom.
Despite a few technical issues I really enjoyed chatting with former Australian swim coach and larger than life character, Laurie Lawrence, long distance swimmer and six time world record holder, Tammy Van Wisse and rugby league champion, Mark Minichiello.
The interview was about the important topic of Kids Alive and all three are ambassadors of this really important cause which promotes the importance of young children and their parents being aware of water safety.
Thanks so much to Mark, Tammy and Laurie for their team, to Trina from Ignite PR for arranging the interview and to the team at PodBooth for a great job of filming and editing the interview.
Finally thanks to our fantastic partners, Anytime Fitness Glenelg and Renelec Electrical Services and Telum Media for their continued support.

It was fantastic to chat with two very inspirational people who are doing wonderful things in the community.
After surviving an horrific car accident, Lachie Miller is now a Presenter for the Road Awareness Program (RAP) and doing wonderful things in sharing his story and educating young people on the importance of road safety.
Josh works for the Metropolitan Fire Service (MFS) and is a Coordinator for the RAP and he too is also involved in going out to schools and presenting with Lachie.
Lachie shared his story and the challenges that he has overcome and Josh spoke about his involvement with RAP and the ups and downs of being involved with the MFS.
Thanks so much to Lachie and Josh for their time, to Nicolle Bradley from the MFS for arranging the interview and the team at PodBooth for filming and editing this great video.
If you or someone you know want the crew from RAP to come out to your school then please get in touch with me.

It was great fun catching up on Legends with Bevo recently with one of the real characters of footy, Richard Champion aka Champs.
We spoke about his junior footy career, including an incredible A-Grade footy debut at Kadina as a 15 year old, what it was like to play under some of the greatest footy names of all time including Blight, Ebert and Matthews and some interesting methods some of his coaches had.
We also discussed what it was like to play against some of the best full forwards of all time such as: Modra, Ablett, Dunstall, Carey and Lockett and how Champs nearly ended up at the Adelaide Crows.
Champs and I looked back on an incident in a SANFL game back in 1990 which led to one of the biggest melees in history.
You can book Champs as an MC by going to his website below, if you're lucky he might even sing a song or two for you.

Video footage thanks to You Tube.
Thanks so much to Champs for his time, Leith Forrest from 5AA for helping tee up the chat and Rory Noke from PodBooth for a great job of filming and editing the video.

Oscar Chalupsky has one heck of a story and it was a thrill to chat with him on the Road to Tokyo.
We spoke about the inner sanctum of the Olympic Village, including meeting his idols and water bomb fights as well as Oscar's amazing achievement of winning his 12th world Surfski title at the ripe age of 49, twenty years after winning his first.
Oscar also discussed the toll on your body that comes with qualifying for the Olympics, the thrill of competing for his country and the challenges that came with it.
Thanks so much to Oscar for his time and to Rory Noke from Podbooth for putting this great video together.

With the Tokyo Olympics getting closer, I thought it would be great to get a real insight into what it's like being at the Olympics.
What a way to start off with our first guest, endurance cyclist, Pat Jonker.
Pat is a two-time Olympian (1992 and 1996) and winner of the Tour Down Under (2004).
Pat didn't hold back when asked about former team mate Lance Armstrong and his win at all costs attitude.
We also spoke about the build up to the Olympics and what training was involved, how the crowd inspires athletes and Pat's thoughts on Tokyo 2021.

The Statewide Super League Grand Final is finally here and Bevo and Smurf bring you a jam packed show with not one but both of the SANFL Grand Final coaches, Jade Sheedy from the Eagles and Jacob Surjan from the Roosters and the guru of the Statewide Super League, the SANFL’s very own Media Producer, Zac Milbank.
We are extremely lucky to have both coaches at the same time and it’s a laugh a minute as we do a fun quiz with the boys that you don’t want to miss, we go into both camps to find out how they are going in the lead up to the big game, the keys to winning, how they’ve enjoyed their first year as head coaches respectively and in our favourite segment, we give the coaches their chance to dish the dirt on the players and officials at their clubs.
Zac, Bevo and Smurf preview the Granny, find out how the Eagles beat South, talk about the season that was and most importantly we find out Zac’s tip for the big game.

The finals are here in the Statewide Super League and Bevo and Smurf are joined by last year's SANFL Premiership coach, Mark Stone to talk all about it.
Stoney talks about the two big finals this weekend with his Bays taking on the Panthers in a sudden death battle and the Eagles battling the Roosters for a spot in the Grand Final.
We also spoke about breaking that 33 year premiership drought last year, what it was like to be involved at AFL clubs, Fremantle, West Coast and Sydney and working with some of the games best coaches including Ross Lyon.
Stoney also dishes the dirt on some of the players at the Bays and tells us who could be an actor post his footy career.
