I’m almost at the end of the first campaign and wow, it’s been amazing. The whole group is so fun and interesting to listen to. I’m always excited to listen to the podcast whenever I have free time. I usually never finish podcasts but for this one it was easy, it always put a smile on my face and made my day. Absolutely recommend :)

i've been listening to this podcast since arounddd 2018? which is kind of insane to think about actually. this podcast has permanently influenced my humor & brain chemistry i fear. wouldn't want it any other way the first campaign unironically has some of my favorite characters ever in it... im relistening to it bfore i catch back up to the last arc!! but I'm also very excited to start the second... very very strongly recommend this podcast idk what else to say. its fire ... ...funnily enough, I've also realized I wasn't a girl since i started listening...? #transgenderismwin‼️

my favorite actual play podcast. I’ve been listening for years, but have avoided apple products like the plague. Now that I have a phone so my toddler can FaceTime grandma, I am actually leaving a review. As a midwesterner, I vibe so hard with this play group and the humor before, during, and after. I work in a nonprofit job that can be emotionally difficult sometimes so this podcast really fills my joy tank back up, but not in a putting pressure on the podcasters to support my mental health way because i can imagine that would be overwhelming and I’m rambling but tldr this is really good and everyone should listen to it.

The LegendLark gang are so good at building interesting characters and plotlines, and really *commit* to them. There’s plenty of comedy, but it never derails the story or detracts from the drama, which for me is the make-or-break thing for TTRPG or improv storytelling shows. I love this pod. I put it on a lot when I’m sick or stressed out, I fall asleep to it, and new eps are always appointment listening. I genuinely have no idea how many times I’ve listened through it, and it still hasn’t gotten old :) Super stoked for the new campaign! The more collaborative/democratic game system seems like it’s gonna be really cool!

These lovely people remind me greatly of my besties and I. I want to thank Kelsey how is a regular follower and re-listener of this podcast for years, for introducing me to LegendLark. They are delightfully silly and making me laugh everyday (I only started a few months ago and I love you guys!)

I’m so disappointed in you, Apple Podcasts. Why did you not recommend this show to me ages ago? Did you not know it’s my favorite? This show is hilarious ridiculousness, that also happens to have some of the most epic writing/storytelling around - why would you hide it from me? I should have been able to enjoy the fun dynamic of the cast’s friendship from the beginning. I guess I’ll throw my energies into excitement over the next campaign, but watch yourself, Apple.

I love DnD. I love fellow lady nerds. I love real play DnD podcasts, and I love getting podcast suggestions. Thanks to all of those things, I can honestly say that Dames & Dragons is one of the best podcasts I've listen to. I love the humor, the wit, and story telling this podcast has. The world is well written and thought out, and the characters are easy to relate to. I love these huge nerds, and i hope they keep the podcast going for a long time. Roll like a Girl, Dames!!! This is my favorite dnd podcast by far and maybe my favorite podcast ever??? Ive been a long time listener since 2016 and this show still makes me laugh out loud every time I listen to it. I have to actually not listen to it at work because I look like a lunatic laughing to myself. It also has its fair share of touching moments, cool lore and interesting character relationships!!! I will be so sad when the current arc is over but I cant wait to see what they make next

I can’t even begin to describe how much I love legendlark. I’ve sobbed, I’ve laughed so hard I hurt, I’ve gotten goosebumps from how good and chilling the story can be. Every person on here cares so much about the story they’re telling and it’s so clear. The themes are on point and the characters are wonderful and the soundtrack is haunting and perfect. There’s so much more I can say but do yourself a favor and listen.

I love this podcast so much, and it came into my life like a wizard who is never early nor late! Even when the real world steals away all my reasons to smile, I know that I cannot help but smile throughout the entirety of every single episode. It is so delightful to listen to a group of friends have genuine fun together, and I feel honored that they’ve invited all of us to join them for it. Their humor is so silly and chaotic, and I guarantee you’ll love every moment of this podcast. I’m really excited to start the final arc for their main campaign! Hilarious, lighthearted, quirky, bizarre, and utterly bingeable, anyone who enjoys fantasy and storytelling and who is comfortable laughing out loud in public places should listen to this podcast. Previous D&D experience not required. I started listening to fill the time between Venture Maidens episode releases, and then couldn’t stop. I just finished bingeing this entire series, and my only regret is that now there are no more episodes. I think I’ll go back and re-listen to Hrose Camp now. 😚

I’m serious, the creativity, love, and gut busting humor gets me every time. In the worst times I’ve had, this show has cheered me up and reminded me that sometimes all I need to do is get together with some friends and play some D&D.

This podcast is amazing. I truly can not find the words to describe it. This is my comfort zone, my mug of hot cocoa on a rainy day, my comforting hug. The story is amazing, the characters are hilarious, and it never fails to cheer me up. I started listening to this last thanksgiving and this is all I have listened to since. I love Fran’s sarcasm, Korbin’s weird antics, and Slake’s almost never ending patience and enthusiasm. And Kat’s storytelling. Kat, I am about to start DMing for my friends and I hope that I am at least half as good as you, but that is highly unlikely. Noel, you are an amazing editor and song writer. I wish I could go listen to the songs you create for this wonderful podcast over and over again. Juniper, you never fail to say something that makes me laugh, and you can do an AMAZING Mickey Mouse voice. Errol, you are hilarious, an amazing actor, and someone I would 100% be friends with. I rolled to fall in love with this podcast and I rolled a natural 20. You all are so wondrous and hilarious, please never stop podcasting. You bring so much joy to so many people, and you are the kind of people I want to be.

I cannot even begin to describe how incredible this podcast is. The world building and storytelling done by the dm Kat, and the players Noel, juniper and Errol is so immersive and magical. It's such a great connection to dungeons and dragons for people feminine relating people. It was so hard for me to get into dnd as a teenager because everyone knew who played were cis boys that made it really inaccessible for literally any other identifying people. The party does such a wonderful job of balancing heavier themes with joyful humor. There is so much talent spread throughout all of them. I still haven't found another actual play podcast that satisfies me as much as this one does. I will be so sad when they are done. Tell all your friends, I know I certainly did!

I would like to thank the makers of this podcast. This show cheers me up when I'm sad, calms me down when I'm angry, and keeps me company when I'm happy. I’m so glad I found this podcast. The last several months have felt like a blur of bad news after more bad news, and this podcast’s catalog of episodes have been a big help in keeping me afloat. There’s something almost eerily familiar and relatable about the party’s struggles to things that have been going on. While my personal favorite character is and always will be Fran, the entire cast and even MANY of the NPCs are truly wonderful, endearing, and truly hilarious. I sometimes have to pause or rewind because I laugh so hard I miss what happens in the middle of my fits of laughter. I truly am so grateful with every episode I get to listen to and I am very much dreading when I am caught up and don’t have the option to just keep listening as long as I want. It also makes me smile that y’all are in MN, which is my birthplace and I have a lot of family around the Twin Cities. We seem to be a similar age so I like to imagine that had I grown up there we might have met and been friends. Because each of you absolutely seems like my kind of people. 💜🔮 Also it is frankly offensive that there isn’t a D20 emoji yet. Let’s…. play D&D.

I found LegendLark through a recommendation from a friend and started listening at the very beginning about three months ago. I burned through the entire campaign so quickly, listening to it on my drive to work and after my kids were in bed. The characters are wonderful, the story is delightful but complex, and the acting is goofy and poignant. The podcast is so entertaining with a great mix of suspenseful drama, fascinating lore, and absolutely hysterical shenanigans. 10/10, highly recommend

I love this podcast. I’ve been listening to them since they started podcasting and it’s an amazing show. They are funny, the plot is engaging, characters phenomenal, an all around amazing podcast. This show feels like an old friend, and returning to it every time they post (and relistening to it on off weeks) is the highlight of my day.

This is the best podcast—the plot line is wonderful, the cast is the best, I have nothing but love. Whenever I listen I literally giggle out loud—it’s like listening to my best friends tell a story. Also, you are all wrong, evil Falen is the hottest with Lorria as a close second. Maeri is 3rd (sorry, Fran). Anyway, my dice say that I love you but everything is fine, don’t worry about to.
