Part of Saving Yourself is having a good idea as to where you'd like to bolt to in case things become unbearable and the tyranny crosses your line. I discuss an article I ran across about a Texas state representative submitting a bill to initiate a referendum to allow the people to vote on secession. I like this thinking but there needs to be more groundwork done before this happens because it would obviously go down in flames possibly hurting the idea for a long time to come. I recount my run in with the city extortion enforcers (traffic cops) and get the frustration off my chest, namely that I forgot to attempt to educate them in the unethical and immoral nature of their particular actions at that moment. It's a good example though on why it's so important to learn to think for yourself even in "small" matters such as this.
