Learning Love
Learning Love
Tajahnae Stocker
It's a topic everyone knows about, but no one fully understands. In Learning Love, one couple from Kansas uses their lived experience, and the experiences of the people around them, to challenge, educate and question love. We make no claims to be experts on love or relationships, but we have a passion for the subject and we think more people should be talking about it. From its challenges to its rewards, we go in-depth on love and we're excited to see what comes out the other side.
Ep. 3 - Is monogamy for you?
You follow hundreds, if not thousands of social constructs any given day. One that most people don't usually question is the belief that you have one and just one romantic & sexual partner with whom you spend the rest of your life. Tajahnae and Kevin break down what's known as the "relationship escalator," some fallacies of the one partner structure and ways you can challenge monogamy, even if you're currently in a relationship.

Ep. 2 - Unpacking marriage
Marriage as most people know it is now how it used to be. Men controlled much of the process, with women and femmes lacking autonomy and freedom. Tajahnae and Kevin discuss how their upbringing shaped their perspectives on marriage, how their own relationship functions without clear gender roles and why their commitment still matters through polyamory.

Tajahnae and Kevin share how their views on relationships were formed, and how their journey into polyamory is reshaping them.
