My only complaint is they stopped making new ones!

I don’t know if there are other specialties who are lucky enough to count on such an amazing resource as is this. There are SO many questions I’ve been asked in clinic that I have been able to answer because of what I’ve learned here. Thank you so much for the effort, it does not go unnoticed.

I am a PGY2 derm resident and I Love this podcast! It is really high yield for an overview of dermatology and the format is great to maximize my commute. I also think it is at a great level to really help medical students on rotations or internal medicine colleagues looking to learn more about derm! 10/10 recommend

This podcast hits the high yields in an entertaining manner. Lectures from school can be low on dermatology specifics when trying to cover all of medicine. Dermatology textbooks can be daunting and a bit too much sometimes. This lays down a nice skeleton to follow and fleshes it out with enough detail to impress preceptors. After listening to this, it is so much more palatable to wade through Bolognia as a med student.

Med student here - This podcast is excellent. In an effort to prepare for rotations, I listened to a random episode and thought it was reminiscent of EM basic. After realizing how excelled this podcast is, I started the it from the beginning and realized it was just that! The episodes are well structured and extremely well edited. This has cleared up so many gaps in my knowledge and helped form a basic foundation. There are so few resources for derm, I can’t say enough nice things about this podcast. I hope it continues, I’m counting on it!

I listen to the podcasts on my way to and from work - sometimes I actually find myself wishing my commute was longer! I learn something from each and every episode, even though I’ve been doing derm for 6 years now. And unlike many other information sources, the way Dr. Kolb delivers the podcasts is very entertaining! I love all the little jingles, pearls, and of course, Dr. Grumpypants. Please keep the episodes coming!

Excellent information. However, the constant pauses for the characters is frustrating and distracting. I think the information could stand alone without them.

I’m a PA-C going into derm and had been looking for a good resource to learn dermatology and this is the BEST!! Logan reduces material to a level that feels manageable and demonstrates it in a way that sticks!! I never thought a podcast would be such a great learning tool because I am not much of an auditory learner but the question answer basis along with Logan’s clear information and study guides, I’ve learned so much!!! I think this is really misleading to the public. Its such a shame to cheapen a possibly great podcast by these misleading practices just to get 5 star reviews.... really unfortunate that those interested in this podcast cannot come here to find genuine reviews.

I love this podcast in particular because it is not boring. It is very educational and keeps you engaged by the fun incorporated humor. I have learned so much and highly recommend it.

One of the best educational derm podcasts! I enjoy listening a lot. It’s not boring as a regular educational lesson. Dr.Grumpy makes me laugh at the same time. I have to drive almost two hours a day to work. I don’t even want to stop driving when I’m listening to each chapter. Your lessons help me organize things that I have read on textbooks but don’t remember. It helps me have an idea how real dermatologists think and emphasize what the practical point is. It also helps me find out the correct pronunciation of some dermatological condition that I saw in textbook but I’m not sure (I’m a foreign graduate). You have no idea how much it meant to me, it helps strengthen my determination of what I really want to be. Thank you so much for creating this podcast. I wish I could donate or contribute something 😁

Dr. Kolb does an excellent job breaking down dermatology to an audience from a wide range of backgrounds. He effectively meets the demand for more resources that appeal to a new generation of leaners with this podcast, which is both fun and informative. Perhaps most notably, this podcast deserves recognition for its ability to teach the principles of a primarily visual field using nothing but audio. I’ve had the distinct honor of meeting Dr. Kolb in person and can honestly say this podcast is an accurate representation of the leader, teacher, and soon-to-be dermatologist that he is!

This podcast is amazing. I listen to a lot of medical education podcasts, and I can honestly say this one is my favorite! Although dermatology is a visual field, this podcast is an incredible study tool for the subject! Dr. Logan is very organized, engaging and easy to follow.
