In this episode the story line involving Edmund, Regan, and General re emerges.   Oswald arrives on the scene with a letter from General to Edmund.   Attacks Gloucester and Edgar kills him. Lots of humour here in our exchanges.

One of the most incredible 100 lines in all of literature. Lear arrives dressed in rags with flowers in his hair.

His eyes having been gouged out, Gloucester wants to end it all.  HIs son Edgar is with him in disguise as Tom O Bedlam, and prevents it.
