Also, as I mention in the show, I am the co-host of the Perspectives in Education podcast so please take some time to listen, subscribe, and rate that show as well!   Transcription: Welcome to the Leadership 180 podcast, I am your host, Justin McKean here to bring you an interview based podcast that is designed to highlight leaders in education from across the world to learn how they are maximizing their influence on our future generation.    The name Leadership 180 comes from the idea that time restraints in education have "time boxed" educators, meaning that once a block of time has passed, opportunity to influence that student, class, or cohort is gone. There are approximately 180 days of school, 180 classes, 180 minutes of core subject content per day where educators have a chance to influence students’ lives.   For a little background on myself, I am a life-long learner that has wanted to be a part of education since I was a teenager.  I spent 10 years in the classroom before moving on to support the K-12 space from another angle, as I now work for an education technology company that is focused on helping schools and districts effectively manage instruction, learning, grading, attendance, assessment, analytics, state reporting, special education, registration, talent, finance and HR.    I am also the co-host of the Perspectives in Education podcast with my good friend Mike Rocco so please also take time to check out that show.  There will definitely be some cross pollination between guests I am sure.    Lastly please take the time to subscribe, rate, and review the podcast as it will help me spread the word while also get more people to listen in and as always, would love to hear your feedback and the door is always open for suggestions on who we should welcome to the show!
