Randomly watching jeopardy on Pluto today. Re-runs. Emily said she does 89’s movie podcast said she was on episode 50. Gonna check it out but definitely seems like something I’ll like.

OMG this is easily my new favorite podcast!! I feel like I went through the same experiences as these sisters and I truly feel like I’m re-living my childhood!! I seriously could listen to them talk about my favorite movies all day long (and sometimes I do hahaha!!). Please don’t ever stop recording new episodes because I can’t function without my daily dose of the Sweeties!!!!

Long time listener just now thinking to leave a review. These two sisters are so fun to listen to and you can tell they have fun doing their podcast. The nostalgia and discussion and my favorite…sweetie confusion, all, as another reviewer put it, validate my experience with these movies. The sound quality is good and the sweeties don’t make weird mouth sounds or have any annoying podcaster habits that I have ever picked up on. There may have been a chip eating episode…? but as I recall they immediately regretted and never repeated. Anyway if you Love movies, fun and 80s 90s nostalgia you’re in for a treat.

I can’t believe I hadn’t done a review of this wonderful podcast after all my years of listening. These sisters are an absolute hoot and I’ve enjoyed their funny commentary and singing as they discuss a variety of movies. Sorry I couldn’t give you review #100 but I did get you that much closer. Discovered this podcast recently and I love it. Reminds me of My Favorite Murder podcast but about movies.

I added this to my lineup of movie podcasts like This Had Oscar Buzz and Blank Check because the Sweeties cover movies that I love that the others won’t, and when there’s overlap their take is usually more fun.

The Sweetie/Sweeth sisters are hilarious - profiling the best movies of the 80’s and 90’s (and more). Love the clips and commentary - they even sometimes make me rethink some of my old favorites!!

These two girls, bring old flicks back to light with a grand comedic approach. While holding casual conversation, the two also dive into their favorite films and give a full evaluation! The show feels well structured as well as including clips from the films to help listeners indulge in the great moments of the movies themselves!

I started listening to this show over the summer and was instantly hooked. Having listened to several movie related podcasts, I can easily say this is now my favorite. Sweetie and Sweety do an incredible job of blending their personal feelings, as well as provide a subjective review, fun trivia, and wonderful humor to breakdown each of the movies they discuss. Even when they discuss a movie I feel differently about, I appreciate their candidness and what they bring to the table. Being right between them in age, I grew up with all the same movies so this is right in my wheelhouse. Keep it up, ladies. You’re fantastic!

I love this podcast! Sweetie and Sweety take you on a fabulous ride with each movie they do. This isn’t a review podcast it’s a movie lovers analysis peppered with a healthy dose of nostalgia. In case you missed it they are sisters so plenty of witty banter while they take you through so much more than just a plot summary. A must listen!

These two Crack me up. The conversation is very informal but in a good way! They have a great balance of giving you the plot and their own input. The random bursts of singing certain word reminds me of Jess from New Girl. Def take a listen if you love 80's/90's movies and let the nostalgia take over.

My wife and I say Lt. Dan! Ice cream to our daughter at least 5 times a week.

Love this show! Really fun podcast!

I googled this podcast after seeing jeopardy. She didn’t mention the name on the show, so I had to do a bit of digging. Turns out it’s a great podcast about all the movies I saw as a kid! I listen to it at work, home and in the car!!

These ladies know their stuff about movies! Their commentary is always insightful and amusing and the chemistry they have with one another makes this show an absolute delight to listen to.

A wonderfully fun reliving of childhood favorites. Sometimes wonderfully illuminating of of how bad our taste was as little kids. Sometimes wonderful about getting it right. And always, always funny!

Just listened to my first episode, about the movie "my girl", and I am obsessed. I was dying laughing in Trader Joe's over the bumper cars anecdote! I had forgotten so much about the movie and listening to these two sisters talk about it made it all come rushing back in sweet nostalgia waves. Keep it up ladies!!

It is great to listen to ladies who love 80's and 90's movies as much as I do. Love listening to the Sweetie sisters talk about their (and my) favorite 90s movies. It's a great time to remember all the old films of my youth and see how they hold up today. I love the Large Marge Sent Us podcast! Every week the Sweeties choose a movie from their childhood (or thereabouts) and give their own brand of review, or "feedback" as they say. They quote their favorite lines, discuss their favorite scenes, and give out some interesting trivia. They sing, they dance (although you can't see it on a podcast... try following them on Instagram, then you'll see: @largemargesentus). "Sweetie" & "Sweetie" crack each other up, as only sisters can; and in doing so make us laugh as well. As their catchy opening theme song says, they were just teenie tykes in the 90s. So, for those of us who are a tad older, their "childhood" movies were the ones we watched in our teens and early adulthood. Luckily for us old-timers, the Sweeties also discuss movies that were played in re-runs on T.V., so we get to hear them discuss movies from OUR childhood as well... "Grease," "Star Wars," etc. I look forward to each new episode, and am never disappointed. Thanks gals!!

Great movie selection. You don't need to have seen the movie to enjoy these episodes. They have great chemistry, it's like they've been sisters all their lives. This is a great podcast and you should listen to it. When you do, they just might randomly break into song and you'll love it.

Pretty excellent listen, two sisters talk about the movies that shaped their upbringing. Its a really great listen! It works for all children of the late 80's and 90's. Everyone born before this time or after after shoudl just listen every week as well.

Large Marge is such a fun podcast. The Sweeties have such a fun theme song which kind of sets the pace for all their episodes. I want to be friends with them. It's refreshing to find other women who are not only intelligent about movies, but passionate AND can make me laugh on the regular. Large Marge Sent Us is such a fun podcast. Too many podcasts that focus on the Jurassic Parks/Star Wars/Ferris Bueller type movies are either pretentious and annoying or are a bunch of ultra nerd-bros who think they're gods gifts cinema. LMSU and the sweeties are so much fun to hang out with and listen too, and are actually able to be fun while talking about their favorite movies. 10/10 would reccomend. -Ya boy from HHYNS
