This episode helps to define what we mean by "eating disorder voices", and disordered thought patterns and behaviors related to food and exercise. Sadly, so much of the symptoms and behaviors of disordered eating and eating disorders are normalized by diet culture and validated by anti-fat bias (or fat phobia). We hope this helps bring awareness to these thoughts and behaviors, helps you better understand your triggers, and provides a safe spot for you to process what might be helpful for you going forward. We're back! Our episode archive is mostly lost, but we're here again and excited to be picking the mics back up. This "Relaunch" episode covers how we—Lane 9 Project co-founders Alexis Fairbanks, and Heather Caplan; joined by L9P long-time supporter, Amelia Boone—have evolved since we launched this project in 2017. Then we switch gears to discuss what has changed and evolved (or not) within the sport of running. More from Lane 9 Project: Lane9Project.org Contact us: [email protected]
