Connections
I’m the 2nd son of a Lakota father from pine ridge, who was adopted by white family at 6 weeks old. I did not find out that I am Oglala Lakota until I was in my twenties.
I’ve since met my siblings 2 of which were born on the reservation but now live in other states.
I’ve felt isolated from Lakota culture and unworthy because I did not grow up with them; and also because I now live on the opposite side of the country
I feel better when I listen to this podcast while I work. I feel connected to all of the stars and they are close.

Great Podcast - Disappointing Guest
First respect to you Grandmother and thank you for sharing your offerings of Lakota culture. It is needed badly in these days. After listening to the first episode of Walter Littlemoon, I don’t appreciate his misinformation and slandering of AIM. His words sound just like those of Dickie Wilson and the murderous Goons during that time. Sounds of dishonesty. AIM has done more to restore Indian pride and preserve Native ways than any other groups on or off the reservations. Their work is still highly respected and honored today all over the world.

Glad you did this.
I appreciate you, and would love it if you made an episode about Heyoka.
My family is very focused on the sacred fool. And the white Grizzly Bear.
I’m almost finished with episode one and I can’t wait to hear your stories.
