This story is not unique to me, like many others in the design & innovation space. I've been affected by elements outside of my control and have been laid off by 2 companies in the past year due to market changes and reorganisation.  I have a hunch that there is a new age of design and innovation ahead of us as the recession sinks in and organisations are trying to make sense of the future.
