Dr. Ruth Smith joins Cory Crowe on KEDM's Lagniappe

SYAA is presenting Junie B. Jones the Musical September 13-22. The musical follows the life of 6-year-old Junie B. Jones as she advances from Kindergarten to the 1st Grade. The musical teaches youth about making friends, adapting to change, and loss. Director, Nichole Morris, and actors Abigail Mosher and Mila Webb talk about the musical and cast of 42 local actors and crew.

The ULM School of Humanities has been busy this year. Numerous new classes are being offered. ULM is also offering a new concentration in Military History.

A new women's chorus is starting in Ruston. Southern A'Chord is holding it's first meeting Thursday, September 12 at the Presbyterian Church at 6:30 p.m. Judy Sisson and Sallie Rose Hollis join Cory Crowe on Lagniappe to talk about why the group was formed and what kinds of shows are in the future.
