Not consistent
I’ve listened to 3 episodes and cannot tolerate the way one speaks. She adds that questioning tone in every sentence she says. Ex: “I usually like to read a newsletter? Then I get up and grab some iced coffee?” Besides that I also thought there wasn’t much structure to the episodes. I listened to a lot of tech podcasts and thought this would be a good listen because it’s based around women in tech, just can’t get past that questioning tone in one of the speakers voice.

Great stuff!
I just finished the first React episode, and loved the conversational style and a focus on the confusing parts in order to help your listeners instead of a cooks-tour of obscure features we’ll never need. Useful and enjoyable!

Excellent podcast!
Thank you, I really enjoy listening to the episodes, and they are a fresh source of very interesting perspectives, intuitions, and inspiration for me.

Why is that?!
I can feel the hating between the presenters. I hate the way that they treat each other with.

Awesome
I’m new to coding and came across the Ladybug Podcast. I enjoy listening to these women chat about various tech topics. I find them to be easy to listen to while also giving lots of valuable advice and resources. I will definitely be a continued listener!!

Educational Show
The hosts are like the Spice Girls of web development, nice voices, in sync and entertaining. They are also experienced in web development technologies, so they provide a blanket description of what’s out there, for listeners to further research. Worth the listen if you are into software development.

Inaccurate Blanket Statements
I have no idea why one of the girls was so insistent that you will never be asked about testing in a technical interview. Absolutely not true.

Fun and informative
A women in tech type podcast with the primary experiences of the hosts being on front end development. While that's not my jam, I find it really interesting hearing them talk about it and navigate the programming world through that lense. As a student in a CS program these talks are geared towards my level from what I've heard so far which is useful. The game development episode is my favorite so far, I think bringing more women in different fields to talk about their jobs and experiences would be really cool. Emma's experience as a programmer in a non English speaking country is really interesting and an episode on that experience could be fun too, but I will admit I have the ulterior motive of wanting to move to Germany after I graduate so I might be an outlier on that episode wish.

Yasss
Yes yes YAS, I resonate with this podcast so much as a female developer! Y’all are filling a huge podcast void that I had yet to find in the sea of tech podcasts. I have like 500 topic ideas I’d love to hear about from your viewpoints, and as a newly-dedicated subscriber I hope I see many them come into fruition :) thank you!!

Amazing podcast for developers
As a female junior developer in my first year of full-time work this podcast has been extremely inspiring and has motivated me to become more passionate about what I’m doing. When I get discouraged at work, this is my goto listen to motivate myself to keep at it.

Lovin’ it!
As someone who’s recently started working in PR for a computer science/cybersecurity school, this has been such an interesting look into the world of CS! Educational and insightful. Loving the women in STEM perspective too. Can’t wait to hear future episodes!

Practical, relatable perspectives
What a refreshing podcast about the tech industry! I find the differing views and relatable topics covered, all of which are explained thoroughly and without hyper-technical terminology, are relevant to both new and seasoned developers. Approaching each topics from different perspectives also gives me (and hopefully other listeners) plenty of new ideas to consider. As an educator, hearing these nuanced perspectives from hosts with different backgrounds — both from each other and from more common demographics of workers in tech — is helping me be more compassionate toward my students, who more often than not have backgrounds very different from my own. I'm excited to listen to more episodes of the Ladybug podcast and discuss the topics with my peers. Keep up the fantastic work, ladies!

Why aren’t you listening already?
As a new web developer, I joined twitter in order to network and find inspiration. These 4 women were already my biggest influences on their own before coming together as a team. I can’t wait to hear more from them. Already my favorite podcast.

There simply aren’t enough women with a platform in which to share their knowledge and talents in tech, and I’m so excited to learn from this brilliant group of developers!

I always wanted this kind of podcast. It's never enough to hear stories of women, by women, for women. Can't wait for future episodes.
