When the Tomorrow Treat doesn't come, it turns into a Tomorrow War! This week the Ladies landed down with The Tomorrow War. We once again stretched our time travel war muscles and watched another hunky hero save the future from crazy aliens. We debate if a marriage can really survive a time traveling child of divorce, roll our eyes at self-important scientists, and ponder period tracking within a global draft! 

OF COURSE everyone believes this wronged man! This week the Ladies watched listener recommendation “The Fugitive,” starring Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones, with plenty of blink-and-you’ll-miss-it roles from big names today. We discuss just how surprisingly action-packed the film gets, detour into the latest Ozempic obsession (*eye roll*), and marvel at how many people are willing to blatantly lie for Harrison Ford’s Dr Richard Kimble. *BIG NEWS* Rebecca's latest show is out! Say a prayer to your saints! Which one? It doesn't matter -- Val Kilmer invokes them all! This week, the Ladies watched "The Saint," the Val Kilmer and Elizabeth Shue-fronted heist movie, featuring US-Russia relations that make it feel like no time has passed at all since the 90s! (It hasn't, because we're still VERY young, right? Right?!) We laugh about all of Val Kilmer's silly disguises and accents, ponder the similarities between this movie and "A Little Princess," and overall have a blast talking our way through this ultimately sweet-natured movie. The Ladies want all ladies to remember this PSA: KEEP YOUR PATENT. 

Time for a REBOOT! This week, the Ladies watched "The Fast and the Furious" — otherwise known as “Fast 4.” We attempt to warn the world about a movie that was our failed podcast episode before diving back into one of our fave series with OUR FAMILY. We break down the misguided sexual tension (“Flowers In the Attic” throwback, anyone?), compare the movie beats to the original, and are BAFFLED by the fact that ANYONE (*cough cough* Dom) would reject Giselle. He's no Taylor Swift, but he is an antihero! This week the Ladies got back with their toxic ex, Snake Plissken, for Escape From LA. We laghed over the west-coast themed natural disasters, plastic surgery satire, and sketchy Hollywood agents. Who knew Kurt Russel was a free throw King? In the end, we agree, justice for Utopia!

Is this the *worst* job interview ever -- or the BEST? This week, the Ladies watched "White House Down," the 2013 political action thriller starring Channing Tatum, Jamie Foxx, and Maggie Gyllenhaal. We drool over Channing Tatum's "your best friend's hot older brother" look (read: attainable), break down how the film elevates the plot of "Air Force One" (we know, shocking but it's true), and consider how many swimming pools are in the White House. Get in the armored presidential car -- time for a high-speed chase on the White House lawn to celebrate 1 YEAR OF LADIES GET ACTION!

Aliens, hormones and photography! This movie had it ALL. This week the ladies (and special guests Allie Nelson & Tyler McCarthy of the Not Couple Goals Podcast) watched the incomprehensible teen sci-fi movie, "I Am Number Four." We swoon over Timothy Olyphant, cringe about the Twilight similarities, and marvel over the surprise Dinosaurs in this film. 3 more sequels please!!

Beep Beep! That’s my bestie in an Ambulance?! This week the Ladies watched Ambulance, the quasi heist-car-ambulance chase movie starring Jake Gyllenhaal. We break down the baffling cast of characters including the world’s hottest “cool girl” with a dark past, many bumbling cops, and one good Dog Dad. Get in y’all, let’s do some surgery over zoom!

You’re not too old for this sh*t! This week the Ladies watched the 80s classic, Lethal Weapon. We celebrated this enemies to besties film by dissecting Murtaugh’s very Good Dad energy, Busey’s role in the pantheon of blonde henchmen, and why this should be considered a Christmas movie after all.
