El Foro Técnico de LACNIC (FTL) es el espacio dentro de los eventos anuales de LACNIC creado para que la comunidad internacional exponga sus experiencias, trabajos e iniciativas relacionadas con aspectos técnicos alrededor de un tema central: desarrollo de Internet en la región de América Latina y el Caribe.

AYITIC Goes Global es una iniciativa de LACNIC e IDRC que se propuso mejorar las condiciones de acceso al empleo de mujeres en Haití mediante el desarrollo de capacidades digitales y el fortalecimiento de internet en el país. 

La API de MiLACNIC es una API basada en  REST con autenticación a través de Oauth, cuyo principal objetivo es la gestión masiva de los recursos disponibles a través de la plataforma MiLACNIC.

En el marco del evento LACNIC 32 LACNOG 2019 en la Ciudad de Panamá, se llevó a cabo el 2do Hackathon de LACNIC. Más de 40 técnicos trabajaron  durante 2 días sobre cuatro proyectos de LACNIC:  el API de MiLACNIC, el UpDown del Sistema de Certificación de Recursos (RPKI), el Internet Routing Registry (IRR) de LACNIC y el sistema de eventos.
