My neighbor down the way, Chris, grew up the son of a school administrator. He left home and lived all around the country, having done service in AmeriCorps St. Louis, and was a librarian in Wisconsin and member of his local AFSCME chapter in the aftermath of Act 10. He also volunteered for Bernie 2020, and today is a stay-at-home dad to he and his wife's young son. We talk about Chris's experiences in progressivism; the challenges of organizing; the campaign and Democrats' problem in rural areas; the vital importance of libraries, and the labor of love that is fatherhood.
