Welcome back to Labia Inc.! Today on the podcast, I have some really big news to share with you all – I’m pregnant! A few months ago, my husband and I decided that we wanted to try for one more baby however, a few weeks back, the conversation took a bit of a turn and we eventually decided that we did not want to have another child. That’s why, in this episode, I’m sharing some of the mixed feelings I’m having about being pregnant.
Is it the right time to have another child? Will I love it as much as I love my 6-year-old daughter? I don’t know the answers to these and many other questions and I’m scared of all the possible outcomes. I’m honestly not quite sure what to think about being pregnant right now and a lot of this comes from not being confident in myself whether that be financially, physically, or with my career. Being pregnant is not right for everybody and while I wish I were more excited about this new chapter in my life, I’m torn.
I hope that this helps anyone else who is feeling or has felt the same way about being pregnant and if that includes you, please share your thoughts with me on social media at @labiaincpodcast

Welcome back to Labia Inc.! In this week’s episode, I wanted to have a solo chit chat with you and let you in on some of the things I’ve been feeling lately. Whether it’s kids, marriage, friends, family, or even social media, I’ve lost a lot of my motivation and drive in these last few weeks and it’s been difficult to pinpoint what’s been blocking my energy. With my various roles in life, I’ve been struggling to maintain my spirituality and my true self and I want to share that in hopes of helping anyone who might be feeling the same way.
Today, I’ll discuss how my life experiences and my daily routines have led me to forget my natural self and what I’m doing to bring myself back to the truth of my existence. Besides this, I will also touch on how some incidents throughout my life and childhood, including hearing and seeing spirits, have shaped how I view myself and my spirituality today. Last but not least, I’ll share some life updates with you including the two adorable cats my family just adopted. Keep listening to hear my thoughts on these various topics and what I’m doing to thrive and not just survive.

Welcome back to Labia Inc.! In today’s episode, I will be sharing with you an oracle card and astrological chart reading featuring my friends Katerina, an oracle card reader, and Heather, an astrological chart reader.
Throughout this experience, I was able to learn so much about myself including how the configuration of my planets determine what I’m meant to do and be in my life but also how that determines some of my insecurities. As a fiery Aries rising, this reading helped me break down how I identify with the archetype of this astrological sign including my process of starting projects, the lens through which I view the world, and how I am more emotionally intuitive. We also discussed my early relationship with my mother and father and how this relates to the position of the sun and the moon at my time of birth, which falls within the Pisces time frame. As a Pisces, I have a very strong imagination and this has definitely saved me during some difficult times in my life. Last but not least, Heather, Kat, and I touched on my anxieties around communicating with others and how I’m working on speaking out against injustice.
Keep listening to hear how this reading allowed me to reflect back on my life and what an oracle card and astrological chart reading could sound like for you!

Welcome back to Labia Inc.! Today, I am happy to welcome Kim Vopni, otherwise known as the Vagina Coach, to the podcast! Kim began her journey to becoming the Vagina Coach through her own fear and fascination with pregnancy, which eventually led her to starting a business focused on preparing women and their pelvic floors to give birth. Not only did Kim assist pregnant women with pelvic floor education, she also then created an exercise program optimized for postpartum recovery. Now, Kim is working to normalize the conversation around women’s pelvic health and is focused on coaching women in pregnancy, motherhood, and menopause.
In today’s episode, Kim and I will discuss prolapse, incontinence, Kegels, and many other important pelvic floor issues. We will also touch on how the pandemic has changed healthcare and what Kim is doing to bring women’s health to the forefront, including talking openly about those uncomfortable and often embarrassing topics. Last but not least, Kim will share the benefits of seeing a pelvic floor physical therapist on a regular basis and the importance of women’s pelvic health education. Keep listening to hear how Kim is helping women improve their pelvic floors!

Welcome to another episode of Labia Inc.! Today, I am excited to be chatting with Brookelyn Carter, the founder and artist behind Milky Sands and those Check Your Melon and Boob Equality t-shirts we all know and love. After graduating university with a Bachelors of visual arts, Brookelyn was determined to make a difference using her skills and talent, all of which led her to creating graphics that are meant to lift women up and make people feel more comfortable with their bodies. Besides t-shirts, those graphics can now be found on tea towels, scrunches, scarves, and more.
In today’s episode, Brookelyn will share what it’s like for artists who are creating and selling on Etsy, how she is working to expand her brand, and how she is creating sustainable and eco-friendly products. Brookelyn and I will also discuss how we are healing from our own traumas, how society sexualizes women’s bodies, and the importance of unlearning toxic masculinity. Keep listening to hear how Brookelyn is using her art to normalize different body types and change our perception of what a body “should” look like.

Today on Labia Inc., I am so excited to be joined by the one and only Carly Compton. Carly is the founder of Paradise Fitness with Carly, a program focused on helping people heal their relationship with food, exercise, and most importantly, their bodies. Carly is also an eating disorder survivor whose work draws on what she learned and discovered throughout her personal recovery. She is not afraid to talk about difficult topics including toxic diet culture, the stigma around weight, anxiety, and much more. All of this has brought Carly to where she is today, which is empowering people to live their best lives without the idea that they need to be a certain size first.
In today’s episode, Carly and I will discuss the importance of curating your social media to weed out diet culture and harmful weight loss messages, our personal eating disorders, and the difference between disordered eating and eating disorders. Carly will also share the inspiration behind her program and the stereotypes about being skinny that she grew up with, which ultimately shaped her perception of her body. Keep listening to hear how Carly is teaching herself and others that you don’t need to change your body to live life to the fullest.

Today’s episode of Labia Inc. is dedicated to all of you, my wonderful listeners.
Although my intention was to record an episode about body confidence this week, I’ve recently looked at the analytics of my podcast and I learned that, to date, we have had over 800 listeners! So instead, I want to use this time to say thank you to everyone who has tuned in to my show. Even though I have been through so much pain and trauma in my life, I have wanted everything that I have right now and I think that it is so powerful to know that I am in control of my own happiness. I am so grateful that I can be here with you, that you can be here with me, and that we are in this virtual space together. I appreciate you for giving your time every week to come and listen to my podcast and I’ll be back next week with a brand new episode of Labia Inc.!
Thank you!

Thanks for joining me for another episode of Labia Inc.! Today I’ll be sharing another one of my sessions with my spiritual coach, Katerina. In this session, Katerina and I went into detail about what the last week of April looked like for me and my family and not only did I leave the session feeling lighter and less stressed, but it’s also another sneak peek at what coaching could look like for you!
Throughout this conversation, I learned that the way I am reacting to stressful situations is not sustainable and more importantly, I learned that I need to accept the uncertainty in my life instead of fighting it. Katerina also helped me realize that wanting to do something for myself is absolutely normal and a way to reconnect when I feel the need to control what’s going on around me. I hope that listening to this session will provide you with some self-awareness like it did for me. Enjoy!

Welcome back to another episode of Labia Inc.! Tensions are really high in my life right now between work, kids, and selling my house and there are a lot of times where I feel like I can’t keep my head above water. However, I made a promise that I would be kinder to myself this year and that’s why today’s episode is all about how to get your shit together. Part of being kinder to yourself is accepting balance, accepting that the good and the bad times will come and go, and accepting that nothing is permanent. I’ve learned that the key to making the best times out of the bad is to not feel guilty for having a hard time when you’re having a hard time.
While today’s episode is a short one, I’m going to share some of the things that I do to thrive or just survive those hot mess times and I’m hoping it will help anyone else out there who feels like they just can’t keep their head above water.
