“CANCELLED” in 2020: school, sports, travel, family, even doctor’s appointments…all CANCELLED! Soccer season was cancelled one day before Kenedy’s first game. Conversely, work at home was not cancelled. Needless to say, we were all grateful for takeout donuts and ice cream (at least once on the same day) and to have a beautiful, comfy home with freshly painted cabinets where we could go stir crazy, train to become a yoga teacher (virtually) and stay healthy. In May the sun came out, things warmed up and positivity rates in the Mountain West started dropping. Normal came back…sort of. Thanking Mother Earth for a summer breather, we headed out.
