Same, same - but different tho.
In my #AdenturesOfAYoungBlackMan I dedicate an entire month trying to understand my colour, its history and how our experiences as Black People - may differ to varying degrees but we ALL Simultaneously can remember the first time in our lives when the colour of our skin precluded us from the upward social mobility even in the most mundane of activities.
Naima was born in the beautiful, Butterfly shaped island of Guadaloupe, where she then moved to France and now lives in England. She recalls experiences and memories that made leaving home bittersweet, but mostly those that empowered her albeit what the societal norms would have been with regards to her race.

This episode has been a long time coming; In this weeks instalment of Lmespeaks, L-Me discusses some realisations he's had, the hard-line that we have to tow as Young Black Kings and how we are to interact with the powers that be and how a conglomeration of micro-aggressions, evident overt racism and systematic prejudice that often shows up as having to prove yourself even before you have anything to prove. He states this was his most exhilarating episode to record;
Best,

In this episode of Cryptochat the hosts Elmi and Yaser had a very engaging conversation with 2 brilliant minds of the core team at Resistance, CEO Anthony Khamsei who founded a public online security company Gold Security in 2012 and their CTO Luke Wegryn who worked at Cisco for 2 years as a Security Research Engineer and Penetration Tester. Their star studded team of 14 core members and an advisory team of 7 global powerhouses including Ivan on Tech and David Kravitz (the inventor of the digital signature) just to mention 2 of the 7. Truly a team of cybersecurity, cryptography and tech geniuses (and that’s being modest).
Resistance’s measured approach upon their introduction into the cryptospace about 1 and a half years ago during the easy cash grab ICO era and resisting (see what we did there, pun intended) the characteristics of ICO’s over promising and under delivering (or never delivering) just gives you a glimpse of their character and ethics. It comes as no surpise as to why or how they won the best ICO of 2019 at the World Economic Forum held in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland.

With the return of #Cryptochat the hosts of the talk show Mr. Elmi better known as (L-ME) and Mr. Yaser review 'HYGH' and their efforts in democratising digital advertising by availing opportunities for anyone who owns display screen (ranging from enormous displays in cities like New York's Time Square or the screen all around the Shibuya crossing in tokyo or even as L-Me describes in the episode an episode of The Simpsons where Bart walks by an electronics shop and the screens on the store's display are all playing the same programme i.e. they are centrally controlled one could assume. In this case however, the programming is based on the algorithms they have developed that can ensure the advertiser can gain the most out of their campaign as specified prior to launching the campaign. Furthermore, as an advertiser or brand owner they'll accommodate you whether you are working in conjunction with a huge production house or if it's you're very first time designing an ad campaign (they make it very easy via their campaign builder). That's the power of innovating for the current times by a star studded team of intellectual powerhouses - you develop novel, brilliant technologies that completely changes how we interact with our daily lives. During the podcast they clarify a few terminologies, phrases, etc to help demystify this hot new "buzzword" (accronym to be more accurate) in the crypto community and how this platform differs from anything we are yet to see.
