Iran has been no stranger to public figures losing their lives and, in this case, the political leader of Hamas, the government in the Gaza strip has been assassinated in Tehran during a visit to attend the inauguration of recently elected Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
Immediately, the region has flared up once again in response as the 62-year-old Palestinian politician was killed in a guided precision missile strike. Quickly, fingers were being pointed obviously to Israel’s intelligence agency Mossad, the United States and even the Iranian government.
