The Africa of our dreams is at the core of who we are. When we know who we are, and stand confidently (not arrogantly) in that, then we will be begin to see our dreams unfold. We will begin to see that we're all seeking change that is necessary and work better to achieve it together. This is my summary of the wise words that Zubeida Jaffer shared in Konversation with Kay-Dee Mashile on #AfricaDay. We're the ones we've been waiting for!

The relationship between editors and writers needs to be built on proper communication. I've learnt so much from Ace over the years, from a distance. After this, I really just want to have coffee with Ace and talk about every sentence I've ever written. This is a reminder that we all have somewhere to go. We all have more to learn. But we also all have stories that just need the right helpers to bring to life. What a pleasure this was 🙌🏾 @Ace_Moloi says, in the world of broadcasting, your best show may be the worst for your audience and the opposite is also true. This was the worst show, organisation wise. Kids crying, cameras falling, signal glitching... But the content leyvels were on fire! I'm going to take a minute to rewatch this (because I'll want to delete it if I watch it today).
