In a nutshell church isn’t a place to go it is something for every Christ follower to be. As Scott and his guest get into we need to strip away the traditions and divisions and teach, demonstrate, to Christ followers that they are the church. Nothing in the Word delegates equipping disciples to paid professionals. Any believer can baptize and share the Lord’s supper. We all can share our testimony and spread the gospel. We can teach, preach, heal, and prophecise based on our gifting etc. We are all called to “go” spread the good news. We are all called to gather with fellow Christ followers as a new family in the Lord looking after, supporting, teaching, and correcting … Give Unlearning Church 2.0 a listen and refresh and rethink church from being a place to go to being something to personally become. To paraphrase Scott its primarily about relationship, becoming a friends. You’ll be Scots friend by the end of your first listening!
