A good podcast by people I like. The problem is the whole thing is very inside baseball and I don't have the background to know what they're talking about.

I feel wrestling has taken a backseat in the past decade but has always been a favorite of mine. I love hearing about folks I’ve never heard of before and hope the show talks more about local/small wrestling scenes (I drunkenly yelled this at Ben at a live show). So happy this has come into my life!!!

I listen to a lot of podcasts, but this is the only one about wrestling I listen to. I love Ben and Katie (sp?) and the guests they get have been AWESOME. Thank you guys for bringing more independent wrestlers into the spotlight!

So interesting to learn about the wide world of wrestling again.

I fall into the universal trend of “watched wrestling when I was younger, then fell off” and thanks to this podcast, I’m back on. Even better, the interviews are great, and I’m always super excited when they get someone I’ve never heard of, because that means a new door or wild matches just opened up. Very excited for more.

Then now ten episodes in I have to say the dynamic between the hosts doesn’t exist, Katie and hen have nothing interesting to say and don’t really have any guests that make the podcast worth my time maybe they’ll get better over time and gain some chemistry but right now it just isn’t fun to listen to. Ben is better on other podcasts and there are better wrestling podcasts for your time.

I’m loving this show, I’ve never really been a wrestling fan but I like Ben from other shows he’s on and figured I’d give it a shot. They give enough backstory so I can follow along and the interviews are great! Katie makes a great co-host and happy great questions and quips to go along. Phenomenal job!

Thank you for not being another review show! Interviews are amazing and introduce wrestlers I haven’t heard of before.

Yeah I haven’t listened to it but it’s Ben Kissel so the 5 stars is correct if I like it it not .

Cant wait to see how Ben continues to develop his own interview style. I can already tell from his other work that this is boosting his hosting skills.

Pretty fun

So first off I love Kissel and LPN. I respect him as a broadcaster and comedian, but he knows almost nothing about wrestling. If it wasn’t for his co host this pod would be unbearable for a fan of the sport as Kissel has a lapsed attitude era fan view that doesn’t really help with a podcast about wrestling.

I’ll be honest, I don’t know a thing about wrestling. But “Kinda Fun” is still a supreme joy to listen to. Ben and Katie are great hosts and in their first handful of episodes have had on guests that shine a light into the wrestling world in a way that’s interesting and informative for someone with no wrestling knowledge. Their passion comes through and makes listening to them talk an absolute pleasure. I’m fascinated by the history of the sport and the various personalities involved and for me this is a great pod to listen to for info on both. Keep up the great work, and hail yourselves!

So excited they’re doing this podcast, already love listening to side stories and last podcast.Now I get to hear Ben talk about wrestling. Keep it coming!

I love this show! Katy and Ben are mega fans with good insights into this crazy semi sport. I loved the interview with Rick Knox, my favorite ref from PWG and many other promotions.

Wrestling has never really been a part of my life, not anything I’ve gone out of my way to look into. But I love the way both of you talk about it. The passion keeps me hooked and I love how much I’ve learned through the course of both this show and the LP Network overall. Glad to have this place to see you enjoy your passion and expand my own views. Keep doing it! ❤️

Would rather listen to these two talk about wrestling than most others, even though Ben Kissel mispronounces everything.

Love the show! Rekindling my love of wrestling for sure.

I was excited to listen to this podcast but they hosts did not seem to be actual wrestling fans. They were only talking about WWE and a little AEW, leaving out all of the indies, NJPW, ROH, Impact etc... When it came to WWE they did not know watch the most recent episodes and did not know the cities the latest PPV were even held in. There a lot of places to get good wrestling news so if you going to start a podcast you need to be up todate and know your stuff.

I love the LPN shows and Ben Kissel in particular but this show didn’t offer anything new. The hosts are both marks for the business and don’t really have a base to stand on other than that they occasionally watch wrestling. A lot of their talk is either speculation or downright misinformed (ie Kissel saying there has never been a pregnancy angle before). I’m sure in subsequent shows they’ll put a little bit more effort in. Here’s hoping for that. HAIL YOURSELVES!

I’m a huge LPOTL fan and a huge wrestling fan so naturally I was excited for this podcast to start. Ben throwing in wrestling tangents into LPOTL episodes is always great but there definitely needed more and you guys did it. Katy has a lot of good knowledge that contrasts with Ben a little bit. I think it’s a very fun pair. I don’t want to critique anything yet because it’s so early. But I know I should say this. The only problem I have is the topics are predictable and there needs to be a stronger comedic presence in the podcast. Make it, kinda funner ya know? But I know it’s early and the podcast needs to become more comfortable for everybody. I’m excited to listen more and see this podcast grow into a flourishing part of the wrestling world!

I was excited when this new show was announced, unfortunately when I actually had a chance to listen, I was underwhelmed. Not only did the hosts not seem to have a clear grasp on professional wrestling, but to make matters worse, not even 5 minutes into the show they began citing Dave Meltzer (wrestling’s equivalent to Fox News). This was basically just an audio version of a bush league wrestling dirt sheet, parroting the biased opinions of the Wrestling Observer. Very disappointing.

Ben takes his rants from Last Podcast on the Left and brings it to his own show with good summaries and hot takes.

Ben+wrestling?? Even Dave Meltzer would give this a five star rating!

I love Ben Kissel and everything he does! I don’t even find wrestling particularly interesting but this is very enjoyable!

I haven’t watched wrestling in almost a decade, I don’t recognize a majority of the names said but much like my distaste for sports I enjoy the hell out of people talking passionately about it. The behind the scenes talk is especially fun for me. Even if you’re not a fan of wrestling give it a try, it’s kinda fun.
