We’re back in Provincetown, MA with a case from 1974. The victim of this case is known as the “Lady of the Dunes” and she is *still* unidentified along with her murderer.

In October 2013, Phillip Chism, a quiet 14-year-old student, was arrested and charged with the murder of his 24-year-old, Danvers High School math teacher, Colleen Ritzer.

In this Part 2 episode, we interview the co-authors of the book, The Babysitter: My Summers with a Serial Killer, written by Liza Rodman and Jennifer Jordan. This part memoir, part true crime investigation, was published earlier this year and has already made a big name for itself. The “Hartford Circus Fire,” also known as ″The Day the Clowns Cried,″ occurred on July 6, 1944, in Hartford, Connecticut. It was one of the worst fire disasters in United States history and took place during a performance of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus with over 6,000+ guests present. 700+ were injured and 167 people died.

Maura Murray, a 21-year-old student at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, disappeared on February 9th, 2004, after crashing her car on Route 112 in Haverhill, NH. To this day, no one knows why Maura was in NH or what happened to her in the few minutes between the car crash and the arrival of police. Maura seemingly disappeared without a trace and is still missing. This is Part 1 of 3 to wrap up our Season 3 finale.
