This second episode is dedicated to a topic that is extremely close to my heart. Education is a multidimensional topic that starts with the knowledge of self! Institutionalized education is a necessity, yet it is viewed as an extremely crippling and traumatic space as we have underutilized our resources and privileges- if we even know we have access to them. Along with my well established “kohostess kweens”, a near two-hour long discussion, turned debate is presented that dives deep into topics such as political literacy, the importance of creativity, multiple streams of income, mental freedom and activism! Although we focus on the current effectiveness, affordability, and accessibility of institutionalized “education” as we know it, we foresee and speak about the futuristic potential that our generation will step into in terms of our earning potential and capacity to learn and teach in more diverse and conscious ways and spaces.
